Donald Trump Donald Trump, as you know, is one of the more popular candidates for the 2016 Presidential election. Republicans are out to make a statement and for the most part they believe that Trump is the way to go. Something that should scare people of other parties the most is Party-based voters, which means that Republicans will vote for Trump just because he has an “R” next to his name on the ballot. “People are pouring across our borders, which is horrible. We have to build a wall.” Building a wall to keep out illegal immigrants is not the only reason why Trump wants to build a wall. He also stated that he wanted to send everyone back to where they came from. Even those who have became legal immigrants and those who were born on …show more content…
Donald Trump, seems to not care about what the constitution says because he wants to stop the practice of the Muslim religion. The ability to practice any religion that we want is a main reason why people of other cultures want to come to America, for the simple reason that they won’t be judged by anybody else. Donald Trump also condoned the beating of a black protestor. After the words “black lives matter” were shouted some of the white supporters of Donald Trump started to beat the black man. Trump responded with this, “Maybe the protestor should have been roughed up. It is absolutely disgusting what he was doing.” The black man who was beat up, was practicing his first amendment that says we have the freedom of …show more content…
If you take a look at all of the other President and this year’s Presidential candidates, it is factual evidence that every president had some type of political office position in their lifetime. Some Presidents were Governors before they were elected as President. Trump on the other hand has no experience under his belt, which could lead to a disaster. When applying for a job, the employer wants to know a candidate’s previous work history. The main reason for them wanting to know the candidate’s work history is because the employer needs to know if the candidate has any work experience in the field that he or she is applying for. The person who is best suited for the job and most likely has the most experience will get the job. Many Americans don’t see it this way. This is a perfect example of people with no experience jumping into a position of power and not knowing what to do and shortly after the company fails. The main reason why people are looking past this is because Donald Trump has money and money brings
It is obvious the Republican Party has no brains. If they elect Donald Trump to run for president, they are going to lose big time. They can blame themselves for being so stupid. The establishment runs the Republican Party. They are the ones who lose major elections. The leadership of the Republican Party shifts the blame to conservative wing of the Republican Party; however, it is the moderate wing of the Republican Party who loses elections. Does John McClain ring a bell? If the Republican Party hopes to win the presidency, they must run a conservative or face another trouncing in the next election. It is that simple. Therefore, the Republicans had better wake up fast if they want to
As Jimmy Carter became President of the United States of America, he emphasized his background as a Washington outsider who aspired to “clean up the mess” in Washington. Carter skillfully campaigned by playing on the public’s anti-government mood by attacking the establishment of Washington while delivering uplifting speeches about spiritual and economic renewal. However, once elected president, these same qualities that won him the office unintentionally alienated both his political enemies and his own party. Carter’s public image suffered once he was elected to office, and improved once he left. It was shaped by his enemies and the way the press handled the scandals associated with his office and his dealings with international crises. Carter’s public image was poor not just because of the difficulty of the issues his administration faced, but because of his own poor handling of the media tools available to him.
One of the most important aspects of a presidential nominee is the candidate political ideology, and how that candidate transforms their ideology into vision with specific agenda that they can convince voters of. When we look at Donald Trump’s official campaign site we see seven position or stances on an issues that trump has chosen to center his campaign around was one of the main issues Trump addressed in every stump speech he gave during the primary. The first one listed is a step by step process in which he will build a giant wall between the border of the United States, and Mexico will pay for this far. Trump feels so confidently that this will happen he has even mapped it out day by day after he takes office of presidency stating, “On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States. The majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens. It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico. There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico. On day 3 tell Mexico that if the Mexican government will contribute the
The 2016 presidential election has been one of the most talked about elections because of one man, Donald Trump. When the billionaire real estate mogul announced that he would be running for the Republican Party candidacy in the 2016 presidential election, he sent this country into an uproar. Donald Trump, who has never shied away from the media, has become one of the most talked about presidential candidate in history. On the day of his announcement for the republican candidacy, he sparked controversy because of his comment about the Mexican people, stating:
“They 're bringing drugs, they 're bringing crime,” He is addressing that all the Mexicans are drug dealers and killers that’s not true. He cannot be stating all the Mexicans because not all of them are drug dealers or killers. “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will make Mexico pay for that wall,” If he wants to make a big wall so any Mexicans can enter and make them pay for it that’s just stupid Trump is the one that wants the one he should be the one paying for something he wants. This wall is not going to stop Mexicans from coming to the U.S; they can still come in a plane of by sea. He says he wants to built a wall, than if he is paying where will he get all that money just to make stupid wall, the U.S has no loose money to give out to put the wall up.
Donald Trump is an arrogant candidate for chief executive, who doesn’t acknowledge the views of the people and whose only concern is how much he has in his pocket. He only represents a small portion of individuals and rest differ. Everyone believes that he is rich and successful because he is an entrepreneur and a hard-working citizen. That’s not true. He is only rich because his daddy was rich, not because he strived to get there. So why should we make him president if he chose the easy path and didn’t work to get where he
Trump built an Empire and will run America like a business. Trump is an experienced and tough dealmaker. Trump has led large organizations before. Not too many people look beyond his bankruptcies and the fact that he inherited large sums. However, he leads an enormous, diversified organization that is worth billions of dollars. This takes loads of Leadership, which is very different from knowledge. Leading a large organization makes you set vision, goals and expect results. You do not know the little details of every level of your organization just like the president does not know. (You mentally couldn’t know all that) That is why you delegate and empower and get information when it is needed and the president will have no shortage of people ready to educate him on issues. Trump is a negotiator. One of his most under discussed attributes, but yet one of his greatest assets. Trump’s spent his entire life and career making and negotiating deals. In his own words, he negotiates to win.
Donald Trump is a republican politician and businessman who was elected on November 8, 2016, as the president of United States taking the power in January of 2017. Trump brought many worries to a lot of people in the U.S.A and abroad which made them unhappy, but his presidency also made many people happy, especially Christians and republicans. I personally did not watch the debates, but I was able to hear about it on people around me, as most of the people that I know wanted Hillary Clinton to win because they saw so much of discrimination on Trump. Trump focused his campaign and debates on focusing on changing America for better, but the better changes were saying was only to give the opportunities to Americans only, cutting off the opportunity
In the midst of one of the most controversial presidential elections in history, both political parties are struggling to prove that their candidate is the best choice. Clinton and Trump’s disapproval ratings are very low, but one has to ask, is there really a lesser evil to choose from? While Clinton has had her own fair share of past discrepancies, Trump’s track record proves much more troublesome. Donald Trump has proven to be an untrustworthy presidential candidate because of his misogynistic actions, his racial bias, and his corrupt business history.
Mr. Diaz goes on about the presidential speech, Donald had that week, then Donald repeats his thoughts over Mexicans. He then comments about the possibilities of terrorists coming to the US from the Mexican border, that it could be possible, especially looking at the situations that could happen like 9/11. As a politician, he should have more of the information on hand than those in the lower class or Tv News. When you think of situations, it could be a possibility, yet 9/11 isn’t sufficient enough to become an example that could happen. The terrorist that came to destroy the peace, came with permission (VISA) from the country. There was no need to come through the border we have come to a time where there is an easier path than using the border to come pass by and kill thousands of people. Donald Trump has been looking at the negative things about Latinos, however, hasn’t looked at the important situations. Gay equality has just become approved this year, and now he wants to start another conflict with the people of this country. Even in the year 2015, we still have the problem of looking at colored people differently. Racial Equality, a common thing we still have marched for even though it has been years since it became established. Congress has voted for equality (Equal Rights Amendment), yet why do we see people like Donald Trump still going against other ethnicity? The marches are still going on, people are still standing up, yet nothing has changed. Even people who are non-Latinos could become affected with remarks Trump says. If Donald, who has no sense in accepting Hispanics, may have similar feelings with another race. Removing undocumented doesn’t only mean Mexicans, but others as well, such as Asian, Cubans, and Central American People (Guatemalans, Salvadorans
Donald Trump is turning into Hitler people. Donald Trump should not be the president because he does not have any experience being a politic and weapons control, racial undertone and fascist behavior. Donald Trump was born and raised in Queens New York he is 69 yrs old. He is running for our 2016 president. Donald Trump almost got killed because of his choice of words. Donald Trump has trouble makers on his side. Donald Trump sir go to church praise the LORD.
Donald J. Trump has had many statements about the “issue” of immigration. His description toward immigrants, especially of the Mexican Origin were as follows: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending there best. ... They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” I believe Mr. Trump does not know what he is talking about, let me explain why: Firstly, being a rapist or criminal is not specific to whether you are an immigrant or not. Secondly, Mexico is not at all “sending” any people to the United States, it’s the people who want to better themselves and their families that come to the United States, of course there is the small majority of people who are here for the wrong reasons, but you can’t just group a whole race into one category. Lastly, Trump’s statement of “They’re bringing crime” is his personal opinion, because we have already established the statistics and facts to refute this statement.
Ben Carson, one of the many republican candidates in the 2016 presidential election. Coming from Detroit, Michigan, Ben was previously a surgeon for many years, but was forced to resign after developing prostate cancer. After realizing his days in the field of medicine were numbered, he started taking interest in politics. Carson refers to himself as not being a politician, and says, “I don’t want to be a politician because politicians do what is politically expedient. I want to do what’s right.” Some of the things he believes to be “right” involve the issues under the category of the Free Market. After researching Ben and his views on the Free Market, I have come to the conclusion that Ben is a high six out of ten on the pro Free Market scale.
While immigration for our country is good the ability to become a legal citizen has become insanely hard therefore leading immigrants to illegally cross our border, which negatively impacts our country.
Also, various reasons have been voiced regarding why the Trump immigration reforms plan may fail. Politician Gavin Newsom from California posits that the construction of a border wall is impractical and pointless. According to him, the idea would be hindered by mountains, rivers, private, and tribal lands along the frontier among other challenges (Rosenfeld). Further, there have been concerns that the wall will not stop relocation into the USA as immigrants have been able to cross over in spite of the upgraded border security. The most important argument so far aired against the plan is that the success of the deportation agenda will cause adverse effects on the economy. By deporting millions of people, the nation will lose significant number workers, especially farmers. According to Gavin, about 6% of the American workforce is made up of immigrants and sending them home is risky for the financial
