The United States of America is known as the nation of freedom, a place to make dreams come true, and where equal rights are followed. However, our education in history shows a different perspective. The citizens have had a complicated time convincing the mind of Congress on modifying the rights of the people. Before, women could not vote to choose the future of America, yet after many marches, the women who rose up to speak with great fervor accomplished their goal of making it possible for women to vote. The Presidential Election is a time for people to vote for the leader of the country. As I turn 18 yrs old, I have the opportunity to vote for this country’s future. What led me to the desire of voting was hearing Donald Trump’s negative …show more content…
Mr. Diaz goes on about the presidential speech, Donald had that week, then Donald repeats his thoughts over Mexicans. He then comments about the possibilities of terrorists coming to the US from the Mexican border, that it could be possible, especially looking at the situations that could happen like 9/11. As a politician, he should have more of the information on hand than those in the lower class or Tv News. When you think of situations, it could be a possibility, yet 9/11 isn’t sufficient enough to become an example that could happen. The terrorist that came to destroy the peace, came with permission (VISA) from the country. There was no need to come through the border we have come to a time where there is an easier path than using the border to come pass by and kill thousands of people. Donald Trump has been looking at the negative things about Latinos, however, hasn’t looked at the important situations. Gay equality has just become approved this year, and now he wants to start another conflict with the people of this country. Even in the year 2015, we still have the problem of looking at colored people differently. Racial Equality, a common thing we still have marched for even though it has been years since it became established. Congress has voted for equality (Equal Rights Amendment), yet why do we see people like Donald Trump still going against other ethnicity? The marches are still going on, people are still standing up, yet nothing has changed. Even people who are non-Latinos could become affected with remarks Trump says. If Donald, who has no sense in accepting Hispanics, may have similar feelings with another race. Removing undocumented doesn’t only mean Mexicans, but others as well, such as Asian, Cubans, and Central American People (Guatemalans, Salvadorans

One of the most important aspects of a presidential nominee is the candidate political ideology, and how that candidate transforms their ideology into vision with specific agenda that they can convince voters of. When we look at Donald Trump’s official campaign site we see seven position or stances on an issues that trump has chosen to center his campaign around was one of the main issues Trump addressed in every stump speech he gave during the primary. The first one listed is a step by step process in which he will build a giant wall between the border of the United States, and Mexico will pay for this far. Trump feels so confidently that this will happen he has even mapped it out day by day after he takes office of presidency stating, “On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States. The majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens. It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico. There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico. On day 3 tell Mexico that if the Mexican government will contribute the
As of the ratification of the 26th amendment in 1971, the voting age in the US is 18. As I turn 18 this coming summer I now have the chance to participate in elections local, state, and national wide. The history of youth voting has changed over time with that more 18-24 year olds are voting as time goes on. The question comes to mind about voting in that why would someone want to vote and if it’s just a waste of time. I believe that if people have the chance to vote, then they should which is why I am going to vote in elections to come in the future.
As a result from extreme hard work and perseverance followed by an unmatchable drive to succeed, Donald J. Trump has earned the right to be known as a multi-billionaire, real estate icon, and President of the United States of America. Reflecting on his life, he has faced many challenges and overcame them all. To understand how he rose to success and his journey to the top of the kingpin, it is important to recognize how he saw the american dream and pursued it. Today, many recognize him as the president but very few can fully grasp all that he has done in his life. From his start as a real estate mogul, to his impact on media, there are many questions as to how he became so recognizable today.
Despite this, Trump’s point is strong since his best interest is the security of the United States. He was unsure of how precisely to target the Muslims wishing to harm Americans, so he called for a shutdown until he could create tighter security controls for the borders of America. It is smart to stop and rethink solutions for a problem rather than continue with the problem and take a chance of things becoming worse. Overall, mediality has a lot do with how people view Donald Trump as “‘mediality’ (media accounts of events) is often a distorted mirror of events” (Markus & Moya, 2010). Before the 2016 election race relations seemed to be okay, but as a result of this distorted image people are given about the discrimination against individual races in the United States, the state of race relations in America seems to be getting worse. There has always been some tension between all races, and there will continue to be, but recently there has been an uproar of protests. This is very much so because of Trumps’ ideologies and wishes for the United States as president, but also because of how the media alters headlines to make them more shocking. Trump is unforgiving and very public about his ideas, and this is something that the nation has not seen in a while. This is because it is

How Donald Trump thinks that American's who actually live in the USA shouldn’t have to pay for people who don’t live in the USA. Our country The main thing to become president is to know how to become president in this case Donald Trump has no idea how to run our country in a very appropriative way. Donald Trump has said so many rude comments that it just proves he is not fit to become our president. You could tell in the debate that Donald Trump did not know what to say or how to say it. He has no clue what to talk about first of all and he doesn’t know that everyone has to agree with the decision he
Have you ever been persuaded into voting? Well, you should have your own say on where your opinion goes. Voting is a right that every citizen in America over the age of 18 can do. Many people have become aware of the fact that the number of voters had reached its all time low. But as the newest voting season comes closer, we should still have a voice and the freedom to decide what we do. Which is, take a step against making America a compulsory voting country, because it proves unnecessary and there are other alternatives than mandatory voting.

Attention This is an idea. It is the source of ambition that dominates the line splitting reality and imagination. However, common ideas can be shared amongst us; we as people must look for the opportunity and seize it before the eyes of the common man so that we are no longer common. Equality is like a diamond, flawless in every way, that is, until we magnify it to see its imperfections that we cannot achieve without something we are being deprived of. Conformity calls to us from every house in the city, but we as a people are being deprived of Freedom, the feeling that I have achieved by achieving the nirvana of the damned by choice, of which I achieved alone and for myself.
