The technology fanatics will be informed on how Samsung is going to improve with their conditions and line of work. The way they are doing this is by coming out with new products and switching their focus from hardware to software. By doing so, people that are into technology are going to be more interested in the products. This will provide my claim that Samsung is better by giving information on the interesting features they plan to provide in the future.
Tappin, Steve. “Apple vs. Samsung: Who Will Win?” Linkedin. Linkedin, 14 Dec. 2013. Web. 19 Feb. 2014.
This web exclusive source addresses which company is better in certain categories such as leadership, branding, design, user’s experience, and growth. Overall Samsung and Apple have a neck-and-neck tie, but Samsung leads in leadership, customer’s satisfaction, and profit and growth. This information provides my argument with the strengths and weaknesses that the two companies differ from each other and by stating Samsung’s better features it offers a greater image than Apple. The audience can also benefit from this by being more informed about the companies and to show that Samsung is better in categories that customers look into.

is a fierce competitor in many industries, they should not lose sight of some of their biggest competition; including Google, Samsung, Lenovo, Sony and many more. As these companies explore the advancement of the same technology that Apple is now using, Apple will need to continuously expand their own innovative capabilities in each of the industry they currently dominate.
Each company has the same types of devices consisting of phones, music devise, portable players (tablets and etc.) and now they both have smart watches? What a coincidence to say the least. Both company’s together make up about 50% percent of the market, so it would almost worry me if they didn’t have the same products because of how competitive they are. Statistically Samsung sells more because they have more to offer that is very important in our world today. The Galaxy is water resistant, has bigger screens and what is becoming more popular is mobile payments; Samsung claims stores connect more with Samsung Pay than they do with Apple Pay. (Reisinger) The IPhone is not water resistant, but the new Apple Watch Series 2 is. Samsung’s Galaxy screen range from 5.1 to 5.5, while Apple ranges from 4.7 to 5.5, hopefully Apple rethinks the 4.7 screen and makes it a little bigger for users who do not want to buy the plus. (Reisinger, Apple) Both Apple and Samsung have different forms of mobile payments, but more users have been reported using the Samsung because it is offered at more places. Samsung could be working with more companies to get their product out there more, but also some people could be worried about the threat of it altogether. The Apple IPhone ranges from 649$ to 849$ depending on the GB storage you’d like, while the Samsung Galaxy ranges from 672$ to
“Apple designs Macs, the best personal computers in the world, along with OS X, iLife, iWork and professional software. Apple leads the digital, music revolution with its iPods and iTunes online store. Apple has reinvented the mobile phone with its revolutionary iPhone and App store, and is defining the future of mobile media and computing devices with iPad (Rowland, 2015).”
Technology has become a huge part of everyday life, and people seem to have one great debate and are fighting over which is the best phone, iPhone or Android. The Apple iPhone is a cellular smartphone that was created and is maintained by Apple Inc. Android is another type of smartphone that is accessible to consumers, but the operating system is powered by Google and many different companies produce Android devices. The different operating systems and interfaces have created a long and carried out debate to which was superior. iPhone is the better phone and there are many reasons as to why it is superior to its rival, Android. The iPhone’s sleek and beautiful design has users’ hands fondling the device and never putting it down. The operating system is very distinct, but is straightforward with its functionality. People who purchase the iPhone believe that they have received their money’s worth and more when owning and iPhone. The iPhone is better than Android when compared because of the beautiful design and attractive display, the operating system and its functionality, and the device’s personal worth is definitely worth the money spent to own one.

In fact, about this business one can easily write a few weighty books. Without exaggeration, we can say that Apple is one of the brightest technology companies that appeared in the 70s of the last century. Due to innovative technology and aesthetic design, Apple Inc. has established a unique reputation comparable to the cult in the consumer electronics industry. In 2014 the company was ranked first in the world by market capitalization. The concept of the brand is built around the slogan 'Think different’ (Linzmayer, 2004).
While profits from semiconductor sales are keeping stakeholders happy, Samsung is pursuing a differentiation strategy in the smartphone market. The managers are committing more resources to researching something they think will revolutionize phones. author name writes, “All smartphone makers face the issue of stagnancy in hardware innovation. Samsung is currently working on developing a smartphone with foldable displays…” (Tanner). There has not been a ground-breaking development in smart phones in the last few years, so the managers believe
Samsung will also include consumers, as key external stakeholders, in the research and development focus groups to best incorporate consumer opinion and demand into areas of the project including development, marketing, and distribution. This will help Samsung create and deliver a product that the customers want. It will also help identify consumer needs for the new smartphone’s use as consumer inputs will help shape and drive the technological innovations that Samsung is aiming to deliver with its new smartphone.
With the growth of tablet and smartphone market, Apple will have the opportunity to improve their products to capture a larger market.
Samsung is an innovative company that focus highly on quality and specialised products, they became an electronics company in 1969 and they released their very first mobile phone in 1988. In 2006, they became the global leading brand within the television market and in 2011, they became the latest smart phone provider in the world and their successful innovation is furthermore expanding. Today Samsung Electronics has proven to be one of the most successful global brands to follow.
According to Forbes.com Apple recorded US$18 billion in profit from this quarter’s sales of US$74.6 billion. A major chunk of this profit came from Apple iphone sales from international markets. It sold 74.5 million iphones and saw a 70% rise in China sales. But how sustainable this growth would be is a question that looms large in front of tech giant like Apple. Though it has tried to innovate its products according to the changing generations but how far can it keep on doing the same. We will further analyze the Smartphone industry by applying porter’s five forces.
If you ask anybody in the world today they will tell you that we live in a world where technology is at the core of human life. We use technology for everything today. From processing food we eat, to being social, to transportation, everything we do has some relation to technology. No technological innovation though has become so popular as the one we use to communicate with daily. The Smartphone. First starting off as foot long cellular phones which could be seen a mile away to present Smartphones which we cannot seem to live without. Smartphones have changed the way that people live. Today you can see just about everyone on a Smartphone even children, which just comes to show how popular and demanding Smartphones have become. In fact, Smartphones have become a true necessity in the lives of people everywhere. There are many types of Smartphones out there. Some of the major phones include devices such as Apple's iPhone, HTC's One, and LG's G2, but only a few have made such a huge technological impression in this industry such as Samsung has done with its Galaxy and Note, two of the most popular Smartphones right now. We all have heard the name Samsung at some point in our lives. Maybe from the televisions they create or even from the chips they produce. The truth is that Samsung is a technological giant who has been around for many years, an empire, which continues to grow. A company whose mission is to "Inspire the World, Create the Future."
