There is quite a big difference between, analytical learning and pedagogy learning. First I will start with the short definition of the two.
Pedagogy-embodies teacher-focused education and is the art and science of educating a child, in other words it is the teacher assumption responsibility for making all the decisions about what, when, and how the student learns. The name itself is the Greek word for child.(pg, 8)
Analytical- is the art and science of helping adults learn. Analytical was a term introduced by Knowls (1980) he believed adults learn differently than children.(pg, 9) The pedagogy dates back to Plato. (pg, 8)

2) If a person is willing to learn and wants to learn, then there is nothing they cannot learn. On the other hand if a person is not willing to learn nothing you say will make them want to learn. Sometimes the person believes they are an expert on something and know it all, so in their mind there is not anything you can teach them, this is not true. There is always learning to be learned, no one person knows it all. I will always be a lifelong learner, I learn something new everyday. I love to set down and talk with another person, whether it just your everyday subject of life, love and family or having a deep intellectual conversation on the of evaluation and the facts that support the theory and the fact that disarm it, either way I guarantee you will learn something that you did not know when the conversation started. Have you ever sat with your grandparents and just listen to there story’s, now there is learning you cannot get anywhere else, yet most young people do not take the time to listen. “With an open mind and a willingness to learn, we the lifelong learners are unstoppable.” (T.R) “If knowledge is power, then we the lifelong learners are the powerful.” I strive to be a lifelong learner, as should you. Do not just learn the minimum required to get by in life and or your studies, for if you stop at good enough, you will never know how if feels to be great. I think the definition of a lifelong learner is this, it is someone who is always willing to learn of new ideas and new information, and will seek out ways of expanding their knowledge, taking all they know and all they have learned and putting it to good use. They will never say, “no thank you, I already know all I need to on that subject.” instead they will say, “tell me more”. To me that is what a lifelong learner is, and this is what I strive to
Learning is important for countless reasons, the most important reason being that it molds a person into who he or she is. What people choose to learn, and also what they choose not to, create the core of their opinions as individuals. Though people do not admit it or openly declare it, it is fair to say almost everyone is self centered. Because of this, and the fact that learning dramatically affects a person, learning is not only thrilling, but also expressive. Furthermore, since learning is expressive, its meaning varies from person to person, therefore making each person’s experiences with learning unique and life changing.
Pedagogy is the passive trends from transfer of information from teachers to students, Andragogy is about active information seeking by the learner. Pedagogy assumes that students comes into the classroom with no life experiences to build on. Andragogy assumes that students have prior experiences that they can apply to the learning process. In Pedagogy teaching structure is subject-oriented, In Andragogy learning is less instructed and more relevant, relevance to real life issues are usually more essential using Andragogy as compared to Pedagogy. Pedagogy assumes that students have few internal motivations to learn and must rely on rewards and punishments. Andragogy assumes students have more internal motivations to learn. In Pedagogy students are dependent on teachers, In Andragogy students are more independent and responsible for their own learning. Pedagogy is more authoritarian model and Andragogy is more collaboratively learning model. In summary Pedagogy is more suitable for children in most cases and Andragogy is more suitable for adults in most

An understanding of the different pedagogical approaches is an essential element in order for educators to develop their students. The self-directed approaches should be limited in teaching and student-centered approaches should be encouraged in teaching methodology.
For hundreds of years the traditional, most frequently implemented and trainer, centred approach to learning has been and still is pedagogy.
According to Stiggins (2012), analysis involves drawing inferences about a whole based on its parts. Stiggins (2012) illustrates analysis by comparing the analytical scoring of a student’s paper to the holistic scoring of a student’s paper. Scoring a paper holistically involves looking at the paper as a whole. Scoring a paper analytically involves looking at the component parts of that paper (i.e. spelling, grammar, organization) and rating each part separately. Students can apply analysis in several ways. Stiggins (2012) gives a language arts example on page 60 of his textbook. He mentions an assignment in which students describe the process they used while writing a term paper. While this is an excellent example of how analysis can be used in the classroom, it does little to tell us how students can be taught to analyze well. When we talk about education, we remember our teachers of elementary, middle and high school because they left their mark on our lives, and are who we truly taught things that even we , and we have to our knowledge, is that the main purpose of my philosophy educational. The basis of my educational philosophy pragmatism. The goal of education for pragmatists is the socialization of the individual and the transmission of cultural ideas of man to new generations. In this way, new generations have no need to repeat it step by step, the experiences of their ancestors (Riestra, 1970). The school must be active in developing critical thinking in the learner. This should not be a passive entity in the process of their education, you must learn to learn . The school must prepare students for this interaction with their environment that is always changing.
‘Strategies for Lifelong Learning’ has been unexpectedly and therapeutically revealing. Throughout our correspondence we’ve shared personal, and professional challenges, and wins. In doing so, I’ve come to realize strengths and areas for improvement, which is why I chose to discuss the second habit from the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, titled; ‘Begin With the End in Mind’.
I am a teacher in the Detroit Public School system. Being a teacher did not start out being the profession of choice. However, I do enjoy teaching. Pedagogy is in fact an art and a science. Being a pedagogue is most rewarding. Thus, pedagogy has its own unique complications. Technology has revolutionized the art of teaching. This revolution has presented a strange dichotomy in the field of education. Whatever teaching may have evolved into; it is and will remain a dichotomous field.
However, having highlighted ‘education’ as the push in learning, it is important to understand what is central to the changing conception of Lifelong Learning. Lifelong Learning is:

Lifelong learning is important because knowledge is the primary source of value in the world today and ability to expand our mind and thinking out of box is the key to attain success. For example to be successful in your career/field you need to be up-to-date with the information and knowledge available in your field and this needs a lifelong learning.
“Teaching is often a difficult process, but the end result is very rewarding. Watching a child develop confidence and seeing a student progress in their studies is a very exciting process. Teaching young children is especially great because it is setting a foundation for life-long learning.”(Chronicle guidance publications). What is teaching? A teacher is a person who provides education for pupils (children), or students (adults) using lectures, audiovisual aids, demonstrations, and computers to present academic, social, and motor skills. Teachers can also teach foreign languages, art, kids with special needs, and P.E. Teaching has changed a lot compared to the traditional methods of just lectures and textbooks. Students now are encouraged to actively learn through groups or individual projects. They have learning games, debates, and experiments to help them through the learning process. Being a teacher would be a great career for anyone who wants to further themselves, to help people, and to have great benefits (chronicle guidance publications).
During my time as a student I have been able to develop the way I learn and interact with others to a degree that has also helped me to mature into a better person. I have come to believe that this maturity will help me to develop into a better thinker as well, one that has the patience to listen and take consideration of what others have to say. I consider the act of learning a two way avenue that has to be taken seriously. It is one that involves the teacher, and the protégé. It has been, and will continue to be, my absolute goal as a student to become a diligent protégé and acquire all of learning my teachers have set in front of me. The way each of them have helped me to think about how my actions, and the way I choose to study my lessons and develop as a student, has made a tremendous impact on my life. This impact is one that I will carry into the future as I myself advance in my professional studies.
