Well there is a solution! People lack the want to participate in physical activities in their daily life. This might be because they are too slothful to get up or are too tired. Even at school students are not wanting to participate in p.e or even sports outside of school. In order to get people back on their feet and back active again, we need to start an after school soccer program. Physical activities kids and students want to join such as soccer can keep them in shape. Keeping students and even all kids active can not only keep them in shape but can also help them learn better while in school. Kids wanting to come to school will help them get better grades. Also students wanting to come to school could help with attendance overall for the school. Having a soccer team does require more driving for their parents which requires more time during their day, but the kids could stay after school and could bring snacks or even better the school could provide snack for the students. Imagine how great of an experience someone would have at a soccer camp coached by 25 amazing coaches from across D1,D2,D3, and NAIA schools. Well going to the Grand Valley State University soccer camp would give me the opportunity to learn from those coaches and have a chance to play with other girls who love soccer as much as I do. I feel that it should be considered that I attend the Grand Valley soccer camp because I will be able to increase my playing abilities and build friendships with other campers.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Heather Smith; I'm 18 years old and am a senior at Suttons Bay High School. I was born and raised here and have attended Suttons Bay Schools for 13 years. My hobbies include playing socer, spending time with ym friends, music, art, snowboarding, biking, working out and traveling. Six years ago I startedmy love of travel when I had the opportunity to travel on a 16-day European History trip to the countries of England, France, Italy, Switzerland and germany with family and friends. Last summer I traveled to Spain with my school's Spanish club, and in March I went to Mexico. I speak Spanish and plan on continuing my studies at Michigan State University this fall. I find that traveling is so interesting as it gives me the chance to see how others live and experience their culture.

Physical exercise is correlated with improved mental functions. Exercise gives better blood flow to the brain and more fit kids have had higher grades and a GPA. Over the past decades our culture has changes dramatically. To which our nation was once a physically active nation. Yet now it seems that society discourages physical activity. The human race has been dependent on automobiles, discouraging people to walk or bike, increasing the chance of a poor life-style. Yet there are many factors that affect the achievement and maintenance of a healthy life. Young people are growing into a diverse society, which is characterized by rapid change, inactive work and leisure practices that influence unhealthy behaviors. By incorporating physical activity into peoples daily routine will increase their chances of being healthier, reducing certain diseases and learning how to avoid injuries. Physical education helps students improve their knowledge about health issues and practices that will lead to a more enjoyable life. With more technology to feel the gap of physical labor for humans and poor nutrition, obesity is rising and people are not living up to their potential. Children have been spending more time indoors with a screen in their face and a controller in their hand. Lack of physical activity not only causes obesity, but lack of brain power and achievement. Children and their families need to be taught the proper ways of how to be healthy in physical education classes to maintain their health across their life span. Parents need to encourage their children to get involved in extracurricular activities. Luckily, schools have Physical Education classes that students take part in. However, some schools don’t require their students to participate in their P.E. classes as much as other schools. For example, one school may require their students to attend P.E. class everyday for a half hour or more, and another school may require a half hour of P.E only twice a week. However, the senate passed a bill this past year that required Florida elementary school students to have 30 minutes of continuous exercise daily (The Associated Press).
