Do you think a healthier school lunch program is a lost cause?

For the past few years in the United States school lunches did not have healthy programs that could help kids with their nutritional balance, now in days the government is creating a new healthy program that can help schools have a better nutrition, although some schools are rejecting the new healthy program. School lunch’s in the United States need to be healthier, they are critical for the wellbeing of the majority of people from 6 to 18, and also set the pattern for a healthy lifestyle throughout adulthood. To achieve these goals, I have organize my research paper in three sections. First of all, in the United States most of the children’s need to be healthy because the food they are consuming is the energy they need for the rest of the day “when children’s don’t eat a healthy lunch, it is harder for them to concentrate in school and master the energy they need after school activities (10)”, without the dairy meal the concentration would be harder and would not have enough energy for their extracurricular activities. With this intention, making students eat healthy, schools are trying to follow the new federal lunch program in which prevents students to continue to gain weight “the new guideline is setting limits on calories and salt, phasing in more whole grains and requiring that fruit and vegetables be served daily (6)”, and this will help teach students the importance of eating
