In this paper I am going to look into gender inequality. Gender inequality is not fair towards women. So in this paper I will be summarizing a three articles that have to do with the inequalities females face in today’s world. Gender roles are still creating an image where a woman can’t go and provide for her family. If all men and women were created equally then why are females still considered the weaker sex? I hope to show you of the gender inequality that still occurs in the world we live in today.

Now people are becoming more and more aware of the inequalities that separate men and women in the work place. My girlfriend is going to school for nursing, and she has already been told that if she and a man are applying for the same position, the man has a better chance of getting the position right off the bat just because of the fact he is a man and she is a woman, and that is not fair. Just like how I am an elementary education major. I have been told that when I apply for a job that I automatically have a better chance of being hired than a woman just because of the fact that I am a man. That is by no means fair. If someone is better than me and more qualified than myself, they should be hired, and if I am more qualified and better for the job, I should be hired.
