A good career for me would be a bricklayer. Bricklayers make a lot of money but
it’s also a lot of work. It’s a job that most people wouldn’t necessarily enjoy but on the
other hand you would make a lot of money, about $14-$18 an hour. (WOIS p ) A quote
from my sister who works at Big Kmart is, “People work at jobs they don’t enjoy just so
they can make a lot of money.” I think I could do the job well. Three reasons I think I
could do the job well are, I’m a good worker, I have a lot of energy, and I know a lot
about bricks. With these three reasons in mind, it would be good to think of a bricklayer
as a career for me. I think that I would be a really good bricklayer.
I’m a good worker. If you were to give me a job to do then I would do it and do it
well. If I’m focused and determined to do the job, I will get the job done successfully.
That’s pretty much all there is to it. If you told me to build a wall out of bricks, for
example, I’m the kind of person who will be right on the job. I’ll just start working then
I’ll work until the wall or whatever it may be is built. Now everyone has days that they
are tired but they still have to work. Let’s say I was tired, I would work not only because
I had to but because I would care so much about my job to do my absolute best.
For my whole life I have had a somewhat large amount of energy. That means
that I can do something for a long period of time, without getting tired. Bricklayers work
different amounts of hours all the time. It depends on the project and on who you are
working for. A lot of bricklayers are self employed so they work what they want to. So
it really depends on what exactly you are doing (WOIS p ). I could work long hours, that
is another reason why I’d be good at my job. Most people would hire you for the job if
they know that you will get the job done in a reasonable amount of time doing a fair job.
My sister says that, “One of the most important aspects about a job is having a good
reputation. If your boss knows you will do the job and do it well then you should be
Next, there are working hours to consider. The OCO tells that most welders work full-time. Many manufacturing firms have 2 or 3, 8 to 12 hour shifts each day to continue production around the clock if needed. As a result, welders may work evenings and weekends (The OCO). In addition, the working environment includes different variables.
I believe I have many skills and talents that I can contribute to N.H.S. I’m level-headed and cool under pressure so in times of havoc, I’ll be there to calm people down and not go crazy. Also I’m a team player which is very important. Some people like to do things solo, but N.H.S is an organization where you have to work together to help accomplish the goals. Also I’m very hard working and dedicated so I won’t give up. There are people who give up when an obstacle they can’t pass comes their way, however I’ll keep trying until I beat it. Personally I’m good at problem solving, innovative, and versatile. If I know what to do then I'll get the job
Bronner’s raised in 1.15 million dollars to support food labeling. Unfortunately, supporters of the cause are greatly outnumbered by their opponents. Monsanto raised four million dollars in opposition to mandate labeling. In spite of the supporters passionate efforts, GMO labeling most likely would not be the solution that activists and consumers are looking for. “Approximately ⅔ of the foods and beverages we buy and consume would be exempt. Meat and dairy products would be exempt even if they come from animals raised on GMO feed and grain. All alcoholic beverages, food for immediate consumption served in restaurants and other institutions would also be exempt, even if they contain GMO ingredients” (Review Of Proposition). With laws like these, information on GMOs that affect the majority of the people that care about taking these precautions will not be available. The facts that the labeling laws will mandate will be so vague that they will not provide anymore information than companies that label their product with non-GMO or organic. Any label mandated product under Proposition 105 would not have to inform the consumer of what percentage of the product was genetically modified and what ingredients in the food were genetically modified (Review of
In my own writing, I find that my beliefs on humanity and God bleed into my words. My symbolism is not always intentional. I have started to believe that just by writing, I will complete the task of putting my views into the world. I believe that man is evil, and that is reflected in each character I create and his imperfection. Man can also be redeemed, visible in the hero’s fall from grace and return in triumph. Finally, man will be judged for his actions, shown by the consequences in each action that cause the plot to unfold. Overall, my beliefs, as O’Connor and Sayers state, intertwine into my work unintentionally as I write it. I do not have to force my reader to read Christian paradigm in order to get a Christian viewpoint into my work.
In conclusion, the goal as a family nurse is to explore methods to help maintain and restore some stability so that the family may function at the highest level (Kaakinen, Gedaly-Duff, Padgett-Coehlo, & Harmon-Hanson, 2010). The Goldsmith family is able to rely primarily on each other for support. A relevant family goal would be for them to utilize some resources in the community to promote positive health practices. This can help with effective managing strategies, reducing stress, and encouraging proactive health behaviors.
The tragic drama Oedipus the King is regarded as one of Sophocles (495 and 405 B.C.) greatest and surviving plays. Written between 420 and 430 B.C., the Greek tragedy tells a story about an immortal’s attempt to defy the ill fate that his gods bestowed upon him. He became a fugitive, only to later uncover the roots of his birth, and find himself in the ruins foretold. From murder to vengeance, a stranger to the land he rules, proves to be native, and turns out to be the son and husband of the woman who borne him, and the father and brother of his very own children. Sophocles incites that the Olympian gods do exist, and that we cannot fight their decrees. We follow the fate they have devised for us, and all efforts to change their plans will prove useless, for we cannot escape our destiny.
...verything around us is made by our actions. Positive or negative they cause an effect that will ultimately lead to a different story base on how we interpret life. Narrative elements are used as a bridge by the directors in their film to create any master plot that is currently known. Any modification at any narrative element used by the director at important moments inside the story can help you portray a different master plot. This used of narrative elements can be best described as an ever changing process that takes place inside an individual’s head. Depending on the individual that may be exposed to those narrative elements can create different meanings. This new interpretation can be different for everyone. We have to be aware that one change in the surface scenery can lead to many ideal outcomes in our minds and that is the main power the audience has.
For every job that you have, you will need to have a certain set of skills to be successful. For example, two people are looking to be hired, but only one person will actually get the job. The two people have near identical resumes but a few things make them different. While the first person was able to articulate his ideas when he was being interviewed, the second person could not. The first person was incredibly dedicated to getting the job while the second person was not. Last but not least, the first person was able to adapt to the fast moving paced job unlike the second person. In the end the first person got the job because of his dedication, flexibility, and communication skills. It would be extremely unbeneficial to go into a job without having, in my opinion, these most important set of skills. While there are several job skills that are essential to being successful, I strongly believe that being dedicated, adaptable, and have phenomenal communication skills are the most important.
Today most people do not think of Labor Day as a controversial holiday. They did 100 years ago.
These points are just three of many that could be used to describe a hard worker, they are the three that I fell are the most important. With a good mix of knowledge, punctuality, and willingness to do a job well anyone can get a job. The idea to work hard is in everybody, it’s just finding a way to tap into that ability in yourself. Using these methods will help land a job and keep that job for a long time.
Family obligations are also a large contributor to people not being on the job. A large majority of the working population have kids. Some may have child responsibilities that become even more apparent when children are off from school for the summer break. Also, these kids need care when parents are at work, and sometimes the people that are responsible for taking care of the children when they are at work cannot be available when always needed. People always need to leave work early to pick kids up, drop them off, or take care of them when someone else is not around
unemployment; competition for roles is often intense. While formal training is helpful, experience and talent are more important for success in this field. Because of erratic employment, earnings for actresses are relatively low.
Many people want to see GMO labeling on the foods they buy today because of all the health concerns that come with them. There are many people in our society today that have no clue where their food comes from. But, there are also many people that do know where their food comes from and they are the people that want GMO labeling. They want this to know exactly what is in their food. GMO labeling has been resisted by the government so the people do not know what is in their food. If they put labels on the food around 90% of the people would not buy the food.
In order to help other people by being a healthcare professional, I was dedicated and motivated...
I really liked my job, I liked what I was doing, and the stress would’ve been managed had
