Cosmetology: My Greatest Accomplishment

The successful achievement of a task: an accomplishment. There are different ways a person can be successful and for each person, it may be a different achievement or task they have completed. For me, it was getting into Mr. John’s through the technical academy my junior year of high school. In case you don’t know, the tech academy allows you to leave school after fourth period and go to a college credited class, such as engineering, firefighting, and, of course, cosmetology. Cosmetology is something I’ve been interested in doing since as long as I can remember. My freshman year, I made a plan for myself to be in tech my junior and senior year and then continue to Paul Mitchell to further my career goals. Although I did not continue Mr. John’s into my senior year for personal reasons, my plan was still to continue into Paul Mitchell Schools. I consider this to be my greatest achievement because it launched me into schooling for my biggest passion. Whatever the case, you’re thinking about what you want to spend the rest of your life doing, how you want to make a living: a career goal. My goals have been (mostly) consistent since I was in the seventh grade. Aside from some minor changes in what I’d like to do after getting my cosmetology license, I’ve already outlined a path for my future. This path includes transferring my hours from tech to receive my cosmetology license earlier than expected. After receiving my license, I plan to build a good clientele in my hometown, with the hopes of moving towards a larger city. Afterwards, I would like to try and open my own salon, and move my clients there. I wish to have my own employees and to become fairly popular.
