Recommended: Overcoming personal challenges

Introduction: Have you ever played a sport where something rare or hard to get happens. That happened to me this summer when we battled our way to the world series. The world series is the most difficult tournament to get to. Thesis: My favorite memory was when my baseball team went to the World Series. The world series was a ten-day tournament filled with teams from all around the world. Main Idea: The long way to the world series. Making it to the world series was our number one goal. We knew that the goal would take lots of hard work. We needed to first qualify for state. After we did that we had to take third in the state tournament. Then that would put us in the regional tournament that we had to win to make it to worlds. Main idea
