Woowoo, My Hero Woody Clark, my grandmother who goes by Woowoo, reminds me of the golden rule treat others the way you want to be treated. From cooking warm chicken pot pies when your hungry to making you laugh when your hurt, Woowoo shows me to be kind to everyone around you. She goes out of her way to makes others feel happy and grateful. For instance, Woowoo makes dinner for any of her friends or the poor, she talks to anyone to them feel better, and she gives someone in need clothes or books. Woowoo has shown me that she cares about others by being a Stephen minister and doing tons of volunteer work at the church. She has taught me many life lessons. For example, to have table manners, to be proud of who I am, and to put others before myself. Because of her selflessness, positive attitude, and her willingness to help, Woowoo is my idol, my grandmother, my hero. …show more content…

First of all she shows that she is selfless by going to most all of my sporting events. For instance, she went to my championship swim meet when her eye was swollen. Woowoo had an eye surgery right before the swim meet and a huge bandage protected her eye, but she tried to watch me swim in the meet. In addition to going to sports games, Woowoo shows selflessness by giving you books, food, clothes, or jewelry when you need or want it. For example, one weekend my family and I were eating popcorn and talking around the kitchen table at my grandmother’s house. My mom told my grandmother that the book she was reading looked like a great book. Once my mom said this Woowoo immediately gave her the book even though she had not finished. Woowoo being selfless has taught me to be kind to anyone I meet, and to put others before me even when I do not want
