The winter months are upon us. While many of the snow lovers enjoy the tranquility and the Zen the snow brings, there are also enthusiast who simply can’t resist the winter sports.
Oftentimes, led by the inner child enthusiasm, people tend to forget the potential of injuries while skiing, ice skating, snowboarding, playing hockey, or simply shoveling snow.
Even though the winter outdoor activities are always fun to engage in, the ice surfaces can lead to serious knee or shoulder injuries. Understanding the risk of winter injuries is the right solution to prevent the joint health while enjoying the favorite winter activity.
