Our president is very important in many ways, some you may not even know of. Obama is important for 5 reasons. (1) he is the first black president since independence and has helped our economy in many ways. (2) He is a role model for young children worldwide and a symbol of our country. (3) Obama is important because he protects our country from foreign enemy’s. For example, he killed Osama bin Laden. (4) Obama provided health insuranse for 8million people in America who didnt have health insure with Obamacare. (5) Lastly, Obama is imprtant because he won the nobel peace prize. You guys now a days take the president for granted and don't even care about our current election. However, I think we should all show America what we think we can do
The best presidents that the United states has ever seen have to have been Abe Lincoln or George Washington. They were both loyal and cared about their country. George Washington founded the base for our beautiful country that we live in to this day. Abe Lincoln put a stop to slavery during his presidency before he was shot in the back of the head and murdered in the Ford Theater. They both put a lot of time and effort into building our country up. George Washington was an Army general and fought in many hard battles in the cold and across rivers and lakes. We have a lot to thank these men for and lots to learn from their noble actions. Living in their legacy is the whole United States that thanks them for their service. Another great president
Just a few years ago, Obama was elected and became the first African American to be president. Obama’s first goal as president was to pulled out some of our troops Afghanistan and Iraq. This past year, Obama Care or “Affordable Care” has been passed and several citizens are discouraged by this policy, but over time accepted the new law.
Over time there has been alot of president's that has been in and out of the white house. Some of the president's have done a great job in office some president's didn't do so good in the white house. People in general have all sorts of different opinions on president's some people may say one president was the best while another person may disagree. In my opinion out of all the president's there is a man named Abraham Lincoln who i think was one of the greatest president's of all time. One of are president's in the present who i think does not do a very good job in office is president Barack Obama. There are a lot of reason's why i put these two in the catogories i did and in my essay i am going to explain this reasoning behind my opinion.
There have been many great presidents and each president carries on the work of the past presidents. George Washington, being the first president of the United states, started it all. There are presidents that have made huge difference in slavery, rights, laws and plenty of other significant changes but none of this would have happened without George Washington. Washington lead by example and defined what the rule of a true leader and president is.
Barack Obama help our country out in many ways that people might not even notice what he has done. He help with people that aren't able to afford them. There is many thing that are difficult to afford but one was insurance. Obama said that they should make it more affordable for other peoples that can’t afford it. What he also did to help many people was with Social Security. The Recovery and Reinvestment that Obama passed in the 2009. It was to benefit millions of Americans that had paid many kind of taxes to have money later on in life. He wanted to protect what they have already have done so life won't be harder on them. On a The New York Times, people said that Obama's action and his interests in the
“The best way to predict the future is to create it”. Abraham Lincoln, one of the most influential leaders of all time, quoted this. Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He was a man who would stop at nothing to do the right thing. Abraham achieved many extraordinary things through out his life. During his time as president Lincoln abolished slavery, supported the community by signing many acts, had many useful and great qualities and inspired many of us in a very positive way, which is why he should definitely be at the top of the most influential leaders of all time list.
Today, Obama is handling all of what he is expected and promised to do. He’s our first African- American president that is very cool and down to earth. He had the same type of problems any American had and had some struggles while growing up to . Obama is also very educated and determined to do what is right as our leader. In conclusion, I do believe that America can accept its first black president because we have proof to show it. He has done so much to become who he is today and he showed us that he wasn’t going to let anyone stop him. America can accept him because he’s young , fresh, full of new brilliant ideas, down to earth and he’s all about change.
The Courtesy of the Red White and Blue The American flag is majestic, waving in the wind, standing tall and proud. For the patriotic, respectful Americans, it brings us to our feet when the national anthem plays, mouthing the words with honor. America is a free country, often referred to as the promise land, where respect should be earned. The American flag is treated as a living object.
In recent years, the presidential elections have been deemed "historic." After George W. Bush was elected president, people were fed up with dynasties and the political class. The American people turned out in droves and elected Barack Obama - the first black president. He was not only the first African American president, but he was also the first one to be elected without any executive experience and hardly any political experience. His victory over John McCain was considered a vote against the establishment.
In the course of A Dream Fulfilled: The Story of Barack Obama, Barack Obama delivers three important speeches. One important speech Obama delivers is “A struggl that demands we choose sides. Not between rich and poor. Not between black and white, It’s a choice between fairness and injustice: A choice between right and wrong.” Found in page 41. Another key speech of Obama’s is the one he delivers in the 2004 Democratic National Convention when he speaks about what he stands for and what he hopes to do for the United States. He says, “ In the end, that is God’s greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation; the belief in things not seen, the belief that there are better days ahead...I believe that we have a righteous wind at our backs and that as we stand on the crossroads of history, we can make right choices, and meet the challenge that face us.” Finally, Obama delivers an important speech at his 2005 Senetor Election, he speaks on his plans for Illinois and what he believes he could help with as he says, “ Where I can probably make me a unique contribution is in helping to bring people together-black and white, rich or poor, even conservative and liberal.”
Millions of Americans are convinced that Barack Obama is a good president simply because of his skin color and ethnic background. This thinking is narrow minded and racist. No one attain a certain quality of character because of his or her skin color. They gain greatness, if at all, through the character of their heart. According to Martin Luther King, Jr. people should judge others on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. There should simply be more important qualities in the president than skin color, like the love of liberty and the American rule of law. Americans need to give greater thought to abortion, smaller government, and freedom. These are some of the hallmarks of Republicans and conservative thought.
Entertainment is my first priority and without it life is a big bore. The first thing I look for in a politician is their ability to be entertaining. That is why my first choice for the democratic nomination and president is Barack Obama. He is loaded with charisma and is a pleasure to watch and listen to. The rest of the candidates could not hold my attention for more than five minutes no matter what they are talking about.
I think that then Senator Barack Obama made many good points about the actions of our founding fathers over two hundred years ago. Our beautiful , great country that wouldn 't have been what it is today had that group of courageous men not came to that room in Philadelphia and sighed The Declaration of Independence. That document was and is the foundation of our country. It stands for more than just our independence from the oppressive Great Britain, but as a underlining of what makes America, America. The idea of having the pursuit of life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness within a counties prematurely documents really set the stage for a successful society.. This individualism and courage is what a lot of Americans claim to still have within themselves. Which then begs the question, what is an American? What characteristics does a “true” American have within themselves? Does a genuine American have to be courageous and ready to rebel against the powers that are in place if they believe that it is oppressive? Does a real American have to posses the qualities that were embedded within the blood of our founding fathers? I think that then Senator Barack Obama is a great example of what a modern day courageous American is. Even in 2008, he is able to look back , and see things that were oppressive then. He has the courage to stand a block away from were the documents were being written, and speak about what he felt should be talked about. He makes the time to point out an action of those gentle men that today is frowned upon. The Continuation of the Slave Trade.
When president Barack Obama first walked on the biggest stage in America eight years ago a lot of Americans did not trust his words of wisdom to carry, we the people to a better United States. On January 10, 2017 President Barack Obama walked back on that same big stage now known and loved by so many to give his last and final speech, his Farewell speech. All of the non believers were certainly awoken to the actions that were taken by president Barack Obama to achieve most of what he truly dedicated his life and career to. Obama worked hard to gain the love, respect and dedication by so many loyal americans today. It definitely was not an easy task to achieve, many trials and many errors. In this analysis I will state weather or not Obama’s
To sum up, Obama has always been and will always be a great example of how to succeed in spite of difficulties or obstacles. Such a strong personality is worth to be admired. Obama has left me with positive feelings about the
