Growing up as a Christian, I’ve heard phrases like “Pray to God and everything will be alright” or “Work 50% of the way and God will do the rest”, but I never thought this was enough. Although God is one of my role models, I do not want to work only 50% or ask for something to happen, I want to know that I gave my 110% into everything I knew and if I failed, it was a life lesson and if I succeeded, then it was due to my own hard work, my God and the people who helped me get to where I am today. For me, working 110% doesn’t mean working until the job is finished, but until the job is as close to perfect as possible. As simple as studying for a quiz, I will study days in advance, then the day before and lastly, I wake up early the morning of the quiz to study for a minimum of an hour. I work until the last minute possible. Although this does not set apart from the competition, what makes me unique is how I react when I encounter obstacles. I’ve never let a difficult task make me give up without trying to accomplish it first. Being in multiple concurrent activities has also developed my strong work ethic. I have learned to prioritize and manage my time, therefore, I rarely ever finish
Throughout my educational career I have always excelled in the classroom. I recently graduated high school, being in the top three percent of my class, all while being a captain in the varsity football team and working full time. Currently, I have a 3.5 GPA at UTA, while working part time and being involved in various school organizations. Academics are very important for me because it represents a better, more financially stable

But sometimes it takes time in order for one to realize this. & nbsp; Upon graduation from high school, I, like the majority of others high school graduates, had no clue what direction my life was heading or even what I wanted to become.

Goyne. Session1.Journal I want to go back to school to finish my Elementary education degree to become a teacher and work with Special Needs Students. I know what it is like for some of the special needs students because I used to be one myself. I have always loved school and it was hard because I did not learn the same way as my classmates. I was always behind and I would ask help from the teacher but they would tell me that they were to busy and come back after school for help.
I am a responsible and mature person who ensures that work is complete in the most efficient way. I believe that education is the very first priority and a necessity for a well rounded future. I plan to continue my studies in higher education so that I can succeed in life and others around me. My leadership skills underscore how I am a man of integrity and how I value assisting others. Throughout life, I have always been told to put in 110% in whatever you do. Being in a family that is a first generation immigrant, I have observed the hard work and effort my parents to this day put in. Their main motivating factor is to provide me and my family the best life and to have as much opportunities as possible. Personally, if it was not for my faith, it would be difficult to put in a one hundred percent effort in everything because there are just simply some curriculum, homework, and work, we as humans find boring. However, Jesus Christ teaches something else. Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:7 writes, “Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men.” This verse really pushes to me reevaluate how I approach

I’m a student at Tompkins Cortland Community College this is my first semester as a college student. I plan to go to college for four years and only be at TC3 for this one semester, then transfer to a four year school. College has grown around the world more than ever and more people are attending college more than ever. I have chosen to go to college because of the rewards after graduation. Yes it is another four years of school but by getting more education and an extended degree gives me more opportunities for better jobs and more money. The career I have chosen to study is business administration. I am hoping that it takes me to a great job managing a company or possibly being an accountant.
I believe I possess particular strengths that will contribute to my success in a graduate program. I am intrinsically motivated, possess a strong desire to remain "on task", and I persevere when confronted with obstacles and difficulties. Also, being a disciplined person, I have developed very useful time management skills to handle my busy work and class schedule during my undergraduate education.
Many reasons convinced me to pursue a graduate level degree in social work. First the standard of education has greatly increased in the field of social work, especially regarding social work in the healthcare field. The majority of jobs in healthcare require a graduate degree, especially in my town of Kamloops, British Columbia. I hope to do case management in healthcare and most of my colleagues stated I most likely wouldn’t be a candidate for this position if I do not have a graduate level education. Furthermore, I have invested my time in a career I hope to continue for the rest of my life and this being said I want to have options and flexibility of opportunities in the field of social work. Considering social services offers such a vast array of services, it’s in my best interest to allow myself the most exposure to opportunity and earning a graduate level degree will allow this to occur.
When I was 8 year old I scored 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics and when my class teacher announced the results whole class stood and clapped, I can never forget that overwhelming moment in my life, I was so happy and contended, and that day I understood the importance of education in life. My parents couldn’t study after high school due to financial restrictions but they always taught me importance of higher education to imagine and pursue goals. My family has been extremely supportive throughout the journey and has constantly motivated me to realize my potential to the fullest extent by providing conducive environment for studying and encouraging me in my endeavors. With the knowledge that education is essential to a happy and successful adult life, I am pursuing a degree in Business at the University of Northern Iowa. I am interested in this vocation because of all the possibilities within the degree. I’ve always been interested in owning my own business; one possibility is real estate. My family has moved multiple times and these experiences have peaked my interest in real estate and design. My teachers tell me they wish everyone worked as hard as I do.
Something that sets me apart is that in all things I strive to be a high-integrity, model citizen. I also consider myself a person of high morals who is a friend to everyone. It is a proven fact that people who like each other work better together and so I try to make sure in all of my interactions I come off as a likeable person. Another attribute that makes me unique is my perseverance; I am an extremely effective self-motivator.
We have a saying, hard work plus prayer equals success. As long as we work hard in everything we do, and remember God every step of the way, we will be successful in everything we
