Excellent research opportunities, encouraging academic environment and infrastructure that Canadian universities offer attract me to pursue a research internship here. It would be wonderful to interact with the distinguished faculty in Canada and discuss the possible work as a researcher in the same field. Having done an internship at Indian Institute of Science, one of the best institutions in India, I am hopeful of making a positive contribution in the research. With the motivation, preparation, intellect and hard work I will engage in the on-going research and make significant contribution to it. I will put my background knowledge to good use in the research. I feel that I am prepared enough with sufficient technical qualifications and have
I have considered this a great direction to advance my career. This will assist me expanding my education and my
Bonjour, la famille! I know that around this time that we are supposed to be moving to a different house, but I wanted to let you know that maybe it could be possible if we move to a different country. I know this sounds like a lot, and the answer is probably no, because there would be so much for us to have to get used to. But I was thinking… what if we moved to Canada? It would be closest to the United States, so we could get passports & come visit family and friends. Also, I learned about this thing in Civics called Gross Domestic Product (GPD). It is the calculation of the Market values. The Gross Domestic product for Canada is approximately $1.573 trillion (2015 est.). Wow! That’s a lot! The Gross Domestic Product, though, per capita,
Immigration is of great economic and social benefit to Canada. It’s an important role in developing our economy, and it shapes the nation into a multicultural nation. Immigration is a significant role in building our economy, providing growth in the labor force, making a strong economy, and becoming a multicultural nation.
What does being Canadian mean to me? Well I think we do have several experiences and values that we generally share (although not necessarily all at the same time). Things like hockey, poutine, maple syrup, our environment and all that as well as a respect for democracy, individual and reasonably limited rights and freedoms. We won’t share all of these interest and experiences—that merely make us human—but I think that not only does it play a role in what makes us Canadian, but also how we view Canada. However, through this course, I have learned that there is another way of looking at Canada, through geographical lenses. It’s a concept that focuses on the idea that there is more to places/landscapes/nature then there is. It doesn’t just show
Many events have occurred in my life, although a few have changed my life to how it is today. Growing up I realized how moving to Canada, coming to Milton and getting a baby sister are moments which have had a significant impact on my life. They showed me a completely different atmosphere, got my work recognized and made me more mature, thus, helping me get countless new opportunities and responsibilities.
It was summer of the second year of my university; I went back to Pakistan to visit my family after two years. I came to Canada two years earlier to that event to do bachelor in computer science here at the University of Guelph. I was living with my uncle in Guelph, just a couple of minutes ' drive from campus. I used to spend most of the time by myself, studying on campus. I had a very mysterious nature of not caring about people or things. I used to spend days without talking or interacting with anyone. I never called someone, unless I needed a favor from them. I had no concern whatsoever about my any relatives ' health or job. I use to get annoyed with my mom 's constant texts to know how 's everything. I was hanging out with people I should
Someday four years ago, a major decision transformed my life forever. When I first time heard this news which is move to Canada, I was shocked. Before I coming to Canada, I was a confident, optimistic and introverted person. Also, my life in my home country was one of habitual routine: same places, same people, same food and same language. Great changes happened after I arrived in Canada. ALL the unfamiliar things were made me uncomfortable, I lost intimate relatives, familiar surroundings, close friends and the ability to communicate readily.
Canada is a country that was built by immigration. Every year, thousands of hopeful immigrants come to Canada in order to have a better life. And for some, a better life can be achieved. However, for many others, this is simply not the case. In recent years, the number of visible minority immigrants has increased. And while this country’s ethnic diversity has benefitted from this influx, the economic landscape has shifted in a way to disfavor them. This economic disparity can be found through the income inequality that many immigrants face due to their educational background, low social and cultural capital, and occupational choices. It is these factors that have led to an overqualified work force, higher unemployment rates, and a widening
Canada is a great place to live, because it is very diverse. country. The sand is a sand. It is multicultural, it’s considered a Melting Pot. Many people from many nations come together to make this country special and unique to us.

Being an international student is exciting. It offers a lot of exposure and scope for improvement. Canada has a lot of institutions that accept foreign students, but before that, the practical difficulties an international student might face in the country should be noted.
I can apply experience and personal skills gained in a variety of working and personal environments.
What are the benefits and advantages of internships? Internships help you gain exposure to real issues not found in textbooks, it also helps to increase your skills that are readily marketable from doing an internship. Interning can provide you with personal growth experiences and exposure to different job opportunities. Internships give you the opportunity to evaluate potential employers nearly risk free, which is a plus. I did an internship for a year at my church. The first thing I had to do was find the facility I was going to do the internship with. The next thing was to engage a suitable mentor for the work I was going to do as an intern. After talking to two perspective mentors one was chosen. Your mentor has to be dedicated to your success, and your spiritual growth. He or she must not be afraid of telling you the truth, and make sure you can follow instructions. An internship helps you to clarify your goals, gain experience by applying your knowledge and skills in work related situations.
In 2012, eighty-four percent of Santa Clara University graduates who responded to a survey from the Santa Clara University School of Engineering obtained one or more internships during their undergraduate studies. Of those who responded, eighty-two percent were employed full-time after graduation earning a median salary of $62,500 (Santa Clara University). This research exhibits that internships can be an important strategy in the efforts toward job search for both students, as well as for employers looking to hire valuable employees. As defined by InternNE.com, an internship is any carefully monitored service or work experience that may be evaluated for educational credit in which an intern or student establishes learning goals and reflects on his or her learning experience in relation to achievement of the stated goals. Internships should first be examined that, when implemented at fullest potential, these opportunities can provide companies and students with a competitive edge in today’s business world. Subsequently, it can be shown that internships assist organizations and companies with temporary or seasonal project and task completion. Lastly, internships will be clarified as to how they allow students to gain valuable experience before entering the workforce. From reviewing an ample amount of research, internships are beneficial and advantageous to the success of a young student, as well as companies.
