I have tons of interests, and if I can toot my own horn, I also have a lot of talents, but none of them really mean that much to me. Sure, I could draw a picture, or sing a song and feel something in the moment, but there’s only one thing that really gets me excited; I love cosplay. If you don’t know what cosplay is, then I will tell you. Cosplay is costume play; making your own costume of a character you love, or designed on your own, and going out to places like conventions where there are tons of people just like you who enjoy cosplay as well. It sounds completely silly that the one thing that gets me excited is one big dress up party, but it’s so much more than that. I go to a convention at least once a year. The main one that I go to
It can be a tedious task for a person to find another who share the same interests. That is why it is important to understand and respect other’s interests. Even if a certain topic doesn’t intrigue you, it may be a large part of someone else’s life. Having a broad knowledge on many different topics allows you to expand your connections with others and have intelligent conversations, increase your knowledge and theirs. In liberal art colleges, this is the message they try to embed in their students. It’s perfectly acceptable to have you passion, but it’s also important to be well
It goes on every year. Two million (and more) go to it each year. People go to it to see/meet their favorite people. Not just for bands. Bands, Interviewers, photographers, etc.

I enjoy lots of different things. I like watching shows like Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Once Upon A Time, and The Flash. They all have such amazing plotlines and characters. Personally, I wish I could be in a show that riveting and exciting. I also like tumbling, mainly due to the fact that I was a gymnast for eleven years, but had to quit after breaking my ankle twice in a span of 7 months.
There are many different types of careers in the cosmetology field. The different types are; hairstylist, perm or hair color specialist, manicurist, pedicurist, barber, or esthetician. Anyone can major in one of these careers, multiple ones, or all of them. It doesn't matter how many they major in, they will still be considered a cosmetologist. To get a major in cosmetology, it is required to take a class in the career you are interested in. A typical cosmetology training program typically lasts nine months to about a year. Students are instructed on hair styling and cutting, scalp treatments, hair color, manicures and pedicures, chemical texture services, acrylic nail application, massages, facials, and eyebrow shaping. A student then takes advanced courses to expand their knowledge in this career. These courses may include studies on scalp disorders and diseases, scalp analysis, color application techniques, hair cutting tools, main principles of hair design, hair removal, massage techniques and benefits, cosmetology law and safe work practice. Once the course is finished, including service hours, the person then has to take and pass a state exam on the course. Once the exam is passed, the person then receives their certificate.
Although I am a fairly well-rounded student outside of school, I focus on the passions I am adept at: art and music. Creativity and thinking outside the box are skills that I have possessed and have developed over the years. It gives me great joy when I use my artistic and musical talents for the benefit of others, such as playing the piano and violin at a dinner honoring senior citizens or drawing pictures for young children at a Bible camp. Their smiles in appreciation of my service are priceless. My drive for excellence in my passions show that I give one hundred percent in all that I

Every since I was a child I have had a passion for doing other people’s hair. When I was little I would use my baby dolls as clients and work on their hair until it was perfect and neat. I have chosen to be in the cosmetology field because I like to help other people with their needs and wants as well as mine. I am aware that while working in this industry I will work with many different ethnic groups and many different hair types. I feel I can do anything as long as I have the determination to do so. Many people go to cosmetology school to work for someone else, but I would like to open up a mini-salon out of my own home someday.
Have you ever wanted to post short videos or pictures of your day? Or send funny faces to your friends? Now you can with the help of the application Snapchat. This application is the newest trend that everyone wants to try. Snapchat is easy to use and you can stay connected with just a tap. Snapchat has given people more ways to express themselves, but it comes at a high price. The application creates an illusion that we can live a perfect life when in reality that is not true. Sherry Turkle in her article “Flight of conversation” explains how people are alone together: even though we have plenty of people around to talk to us we still feel detached. The upside to using Snapchat is that we can see what our friends are up to from time to time. Although Snapchat allows us to stay connected with our friends,
In the play “A Doll's House” by Henrik Ibsen, the character of Nora uses the phrase “the most wondrous thing” to refer to something she has done outside of her husband’s knowledge and what she imagines his reaction will be when he finds out. Throughout the play Nora wants to be and to remain only a doll to her husband and acts with utter childish selfishness when she cannot maintain her romantic illusions by keeping secrets, performing kid like distractions, and running away from her problems.
The American Heritage dictionary defines cosmetology as “The study of cosmetics and their use.” Cosmetology is more than just hair or nails. It’s a massive world of everything from cosmetics to skin care. Cosmetology opens not just one door, but multiple to other careers in this field of work.

I had already completed 1,205 hours at another Cosmetology school when they suddenly closed their doors. I was devastated and was unsure where I could turn. Additionally, I had just had a baby. It was only a couple of months after I returned that the school closed. Thankfully, Milan Institute was able to accommodate me as a transfer student so that I could complete my Cosmetology program and graduate.
As I’m sure your parents, friends, or other say or advise you, is to always be careful of who(m) you meet on the internet. Coming from one with experience, there’s always someone who doesn’t seem to be a certain way in person as they would on the internet. With internet and cosplay, people always feel a sense of freedom, or a sense of being able someone they aren’t or feel as though they can’t be in person. Yet, this doesn’t portray itself in just the cosplay community, but in others as well.
