The body needs some different food types to function how it is supposed to. Three of these food types are; electrolytes, carbohydrates, and proteins. All of these are important to the body and have a specific function.
You may ask yourself , what is an electrolyte? According to Nate Marrow in the article What Are Electrolytes?... And Why Are They So Important? electrolytes are “ Any fluid that conducts electricity” (Marrow, Page 1 2013). Electrolytes have an important role in your body. Your body needs them to function as it should.
There are many different types of electrolytes. They each have different functions and help your body in many ways. According to the article What Are Electrolytes?... And Why Are They So Important?, “ This balance is important for things like hydration, nerve impulses, muscle function, and pH level.” (Marrow, page 1 2013). For example the electrolyte sodium controls the amount of water in your body. Sodium is also important for maintaining blood volume. and muscle and nerve function according to Marrow. Too much of this electrolyte can also cause hypernatremia. This condition can cause weakness, lethargy, and may cause coma or seizures. Too little of this electrolyte can cause hyponatremia. In conclusion, our body is made up of several ions that are essential in the body in order to obtain a healthy system. In order to be provided with the benefits these ions offer the body, the body must be cared for by being fed the right foods, being exercised regularly and making sure it’s healthy by attending scheduled check-ups. Ions help the body in more ways than one. They provide the body with nutrients that strengthen our health system in order to ensure we maintain our well-being. These ions can be beneficial to the human body by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Go foods that provides energy such as bread rice and any other foods that primarily provides carbohydrates.
All of these substances serve one purpose or another when consumed into the body. Carbohydrates, for example, are broken down in the body to provide energy for the body to perform reactions and to regain stamina. Protein helps muscles to recover stronger than before as well as help skin and hair cells to develop. Some substances, such as fat and sugar, can be misinterpreted as being harmful to the body.
