Dogs Are Better Than Cats
When examining the data regarding the benefits and liabilities between cats and dogs, one can't help but notice the benefits. It is almost impossible to deny the fact that dogs are better pets than cats.
When looking over the data I found that dogs are better pets than cats. Dogs almost always are a better pet because they are loyal, dogs are very loyal in the way of protecting you. Dogs are great protectors any time something tries to hurt you dogs are there to stop anything from happening. Cats will run away every time something happened cats were not loyal when looking over the data.
Looking at how dogs and cats were with kids I noticed that dogs were better with kids. Cats would scratch and bite kids more often
Most people like dogs more than cats. I like dogs more than cats. More than half a million people in America like dogs as pets more than cats.
Cats and dogs are different in the way they bond with their owners. While I have always been more of a dog person, I do like certain cats. My favorite cats are Himalayan and Siamese. I have always thought that dogs were more affectionate than cats until I found out I was wrong. According to the Study Cats Bond Differently than Dogs, cats show affection to their owners, but they do not get attached like dogs. Also,
One of the many factors that pet owners look into is space. How much room will the dog, or cat have to play, sleep, and even eat? Many people think that, because they have a small dog, that they do not need a lot of room, yes, this maybe true, but they need to take the energy of the dog into consideration. Cats on the other hand can live in tight spaces, whether they have tons of energy or not. Both animals depending on the size and breed need the space that can accommodate for these aspects.
Cats and dogs are some of the most popular animals to have in the world. Cats tend to be more independent and are normally cheaper and less attention demanding. Dogs on the other hand are loyal and obedient, but do require more attention and exercise, including regular walks. If you are ever stuck between choosing cat or dog, you should always think about how much time you have to care for you pet, how much you can afford to spend, and what kind of temperament are you looking for.
Most people choose dogs over cats because of their loyalty. In “The Loyalty of Dogs”, Cesar Millan describes a dog’s loyalty. In his article, Millan says, “Dogs are also naturally affectionate. Their instinct is to want to bond.” What Millan means is that dogs are born to bond. Dogs count you as part of their pack. If you leave them even temporarily, they feel as a part of them is gone. As long as you feed them, cats don’t care
Dogs are better than cats because they are easier to train, they are protective, they are easier to adapt, and they are active.
Despite all these reasons, I believe a dog provides a lot more to you than what you expect. The simple joys of getting up every morning and cuddling him, the constant wagging of the tail, and the very real (as well as effective) puppy eyes when you’re eating food! Now who wouldn’t want to love a dog after this?
Dogs, without a shadow of a doubt, are better than cats. No matter which way that you choose to look at it, man’s best friend will always be superior to their feline foes. Perhaps the most common argument in favor of dogs is their apparent love and affection for their owners. This is easily observed every day as dogs go berserk as soon as their owner steps foot in the door. Science has even been able to back up this claim in a recent study, as dogs secrete more oxytocin, the love hormone, than cats after spending time with their owners. A canine’s oxytocin levels increase by about fifty-seven percent in comparison to about twelve percent for cats. Furthermore, dogs help to save lives every single day through their work with the military and
What would you prefer as a pet cats or dogs? I prefer dogs as a pet, how about you would you like a cat or a dog? Some people might think cats are better than dogs. However, I strongly believe dogs are better than cats.
When it comes to animals, dogs make a great pet. They can help people with disabilities walk across the street or get down the steps. Dogs can feel people's emotions so when someone is feeling sad, they can understand and provide comfort. Also dogs can help motivate you to exercise, and they will get you outside to exercise them. This is why, when it comes to animals, dogs are a good choice as a pet.
Dogs tend to be more loving and caring than cats are. They love you no matter what whereas cats will scratch you or sometimes bite. Dogs help you stay active better than cats which helps you stay positive and healthy. They need walks and need to go outside to play lots which gets you going on daily walks and get you into that healthy routine. Having a dog starts a great positive conversation starter with new people you meet as they probably have owned one, own one currently, or they just think that they are cute. The topic of cats usually starts a negative conversation since there are not many people who like cats. Cats as a topic can also cause arguing between some people especially if one person is a cat person and one is a dog
A dogs behavior is significantly more desirable than a cats. A dog is loving and friendly most of the time and enjoys a good belly rub as a reward. If you try and scratch a cats belly, the cat will try to scratch and bite you. A dog is incomparably easier to train than a cat. You can teach a dog to do anything from bringing you your newspaper to the simplest command, sit. As a result of being able to train a dog, a dog goes to the bathroom outside, leaving no stench behind in your house. Whereas, a cat uses a litter box to go to the bathroom, there is always a stench in your house. Dogs are also far better with children. Dogs form a far greater bond with newborn babies, and often times do not leave the child’s crib side. Also, a trained dog will not cause destruction to your house, while you cannot train a cat to not use their sharp little claws to tear at the side of your couches, and rip and shred all the way down your curtains. Dogs also do not jump places where most cats jump, such as in your lap on your laptop, or on your dinner table at dinner. A dog won’t be a surprise first thing in the morning laying in your bathroom sink either. A dog will lay nex...
Over 71 million American households (62%) have a pet, and most people think of their pets as members of the family. Some research studies have found that people who have a pet have healthier hearts, stay home sick less often, make fewer visits to the doctor, get more exercise, and are less depressed. Pets may also have a significant impact on allergies, asthma, social support, and social interactions with other people (Casciotti) .
The importance of pets in individuals’ lives is very high. Since people started having pets, tens of thousands of years ago, they brought happiness to the people. Then, the humans got easily attached to them and to them, pets became as important as their own children and family. Also, pets became their owners’ best friends and made them have a very important responsibility. Most people loved their pets so much; however, there are people who disliked pets thinking they’re a big mess, at the same time not realizing that they have many benefits. Pets are their owners’ best friends and are important to many people and should be to all because they always make them feel better when they’re upset and stand by their side, they protect the people,
