Do you think that curfews keep teenagers out of trouble, or do they unfairly interfere in young people's lives? I think they keep teenagers out of trouble, because curfews can give a great amount of safety, responsibility, and trust. First, the amount of saftey teenagers need from having curfews. For example, there could be a criminal that has just broken out of jail and is in your area. The odds of you being out so late in the middle of the night aren't so good it might become a nightmare or worst your life could depend on it. For instance, safety is what keeps you from getting hurt or possibly killed. Some argue that they are load with weapons. However, it doesn't mean your always ready and prepared for the unexpected. For example, If you do decide to come home on time you are showing that you can be responsible for your actions and to be a great example to younger siblings. They could look up to you knowing you were responsible in the choices you made by coming home on time. For instance, Responsibility takes a lot of work, but if you chose to do what's right greater things come your way. Some argue that they don't care to be responsible in there actions. However, your actions is what makes you responsible and what you need to do to stay out of trouble. So stay responsible and you won't be in trouble. Finally, the trust that comes from having curfews. For example, your parents ask you to be home at a specific time, but you came home just a few minutes behind curfew. They trust you to be honest and explain why you were so late, but you lied to them. They soon fine out what you have been doing that keeps you from being late and are disappointed of the chose you have made and the fact you lied to them so many times. They discussed your actions with you and you are no longer to go out even if you have a curfew. For instance, actions speak louder then words and parents trust you to do the right thing
