Why Do Bad Things Happen To Innocent People?

Throughout a lifetime, people experience numerous things that shape their lives. Sometimes it can be a tragedy, or sometimes it be euphoric; it depends on the prespection of the situation. The unfortunate encounters could possibly turn into something fortunate; however, what happens if nothing joyous comes out of it? Life is an adventure on every level no matter what is in the open or behind closed doors.

Criminals can not only be scary but also dangerous. Why do bad things happen to innocent people? What forms the equation for that? During my eighteen years of reality, my life has been shaped around multiple experiences but one in particular: losing something temporarily. Including my mother’s car being stolen, my precious dog, Puddles, was taken in the summer of 2017. My heart was shattered into pieces,

But where was our dog? From that point forward, my dad and I traveled to Alabama early in the morning to hopefully get our questions answered by the police. When we arrived to the police station, they told us to follow them to an RV park. Once arrived on acres and acres of land, we knew God was slowly leading us in the right direction. Yelling and screaming Puddles’s name, I could hear a cry behind my lost emotions. Still no sign of Puddles was found. Several long minutes later, I received a phone call from a woman who knew about our situation saying, “I have your dog. I found him at a gas station in the blazing heat off of the highway.” I breathed heavily once she stated this. I thought to myself, “This could be the missing piece to our puzzle, or it could go down the drain.” After deep thoughts, I had asked the woman to send me a picture of the dog she had found. When my phone made a “ding,” my whole world flipped as I jumped in the air screaming of joy. After this, we met with her to retrieve our precious puppy.
