In my opinion all, the talk about gun laws is ridiculous. People do not want others to be able to own a gun makes no sense. For example, someone is sitting in a car at a gas station someone goes up to the clerk and starts shooting. You do not want anyone to be able to intervene and stop this hooligan? If people would, rather just let them do this then that is up to them. Another reason is hunting. For numerous people hunting is how they maintain food. Take that away from them then they are left to go buy what they need with money they do not have. To make people have to go buy from a store what they could have got on their own land for cheaper makes no sense. Taking away guns from hunters would leave them in a horrible place, hunting is what

In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote that if a government failed to protect its citizen and instead became the enemy, the citizens had the right to overthrow it. After the Revolutionary War, the Founding Fathers did not want to replace an oppressing army which was the British with one of their own. They felt that an armed citizen was the best type of army. This is what was meant by a well regulated militia. The militia would consist of every able-bodied man who was trained using their own arms for purposes of local defense and in actual military events.
