In this story Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet’s was blamed on these characters because of certain reasons but all ended up to tie together of why they killed themselves. The author of this book is William Shakespeare. There was quite a few of characters in this story but here are some main ones, Juliet, Romeo, Mercutio, Tybalt, Benvolio, Friar Lawrence, Juliet’s nurse that took care of her, Count Paris, Juliet’s father Capulet, and Juliet’s mother lady Capulet, Montague is Romeo’s father and lady Montague is Romeo’s mother. This Play was about two teens that fall in love and many things go wrong.

Then, Tybalt had said “What, drawn, and talk of peace?/I hate the word as I hate hell,/ all montagues, and thee, /have all thee,/ Coward!”(1.1.65-67). This shows Tybalt’s attitude toward Romeo and getting Romeo mad. They are talking to each other in front of everyone. The next person to be blamed for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Friar Lawrence because of his plan that was suppose to work out for Juliet.
Friar Lawrence says, “but come young waverer, /come go with me/, in one respect i'll thy assistant be;/ for this alliance may so happy prove to turn your households rancor to pure love”( 2.3.89-92). While he was saying this he was talking to Romeo about how her father thinks Paris will be a better person for Juliet. It shows that Friar Lawrence is trying to help Juliet out and make her happy so she can be with the love of her life Romeo. The Friar knows she is not happy but it’s not her choice. The reason the Friar is blamed was because his potion that Juliet drank did not work as planned and made the situation worse because Juliet was suppose to be dead till Romeo came, and it lasted longer than it should have. After fighting with her father Juliet tried to get her mother to help her and to try to convince her father to not make her marry Paris. Lady Capulet said “talk not to me,/ for I not speak a word do as thou wilt,/ for I have done with thee”. (3.4.204-205). Lady Capulet could not help Juliet, she did not want to make father Capulet angrier. The next character in the play is Friar Lawrence because the plan that he came up with failed for Juliet so she can escape with Romeo.
