Religion plays a huge role in the identity of a person. My religion plays an enormous role in my life. I follow the catholic faith. The catholic faith is governed by the pope. The temples are governed by the bishops and priests. I get as much help that I can so I can become a better person. I do other strong activities that help me continue to follow my catholic faith. I participate at the Midtown Achievement Center where that place helps me continue my catholic faith. This center helps me to learn virtues that I have never heard before like the respect for women, dignity, and purity. I have attended this center since I was in 6th grade. I wasn't the nicest person in 6th grade, but after years I have developed in a great person that I am today. …show more content…

Attending mass, helps people in their time in need and any time exactly. Having a familiar face with the priests is an amazing pleasure because it helps me form a better relationship with the priest and could make it easier for us so we can solve problems that occur at me. At my local church, I helped at catechism classes every Sunday. I would help many students continue their catholic faith. At the catechism class, I was a teacher assistant. A teacher assistant is important, because you have to back up the teacher at any time of need. When the teacher forgot a prayer the teacher assistant was there to help the teacher out. In many of these situations I was there to help. Many people may say Religion helped play to help me become a better man. I agree with this statement. Religion plays a huge role that helps people make person. I used to be someone who did not care about anything important, but after I had made my connection with my religion I found the other side of me that no one could see.
