According to Webster dictionary, the definition of worldview is a particular philosophy of life or conception of the world. In other words, it is how someone see the world. Someone’s worldview can be influenced by many things. How they grew up, what was considered right and wrong, their religious background or lack of. As a Theist my worldview was influenced by the Bible and what the Bible said how I should live my life. I would live as God intended me to live. (Colossians 3:17 NIV) (Bilingual Bible New Edition n.d.)

We sin every day whether it is intentionally or not. As a Christian, I was raised that the first sin was committed by Eve after eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 3:2-3 NIV). God had said to Adam and Eve not to eat from that tree but they had disobeyed. This original sin would affect the future of mankind. Now because of this sin, there is a wrong and there is a right. Due to actions of Adam and Eve, we would need a Savior. (Genesis 3:15) (Chittick Dr. Donald 2006) All over the bible there are laws that we would have to abide to be able to be right with God. Some of the laws that God had put in place were the Ten Commandment (Exodus 20:1-17 NIV). If you obey them, you were morally right and if you disobeyed them you were immoral. The bible talks about the relationship that a husband and a wife should have (Ephesians 5:22-33 NIV) (Hebrews 13:4 NIV). The Bible says how I should treat people regardless if I know them or not; like them or not. (Ephesians 4:32 NIV). (1 Peter 3:8-12 NIV) (Cole 2013) (Bilingual Bible New Edition n.d.) talks about how to live “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind”. These are behaviors that God wants us to show because many of these behaviors you can’t exclude and live righteously. These behaviors would allow me to be close to God. The biblical worldview influenced how I think about, treat, and speak to others because God wants us to show his love through our actions. I must kind to everyone that I come across. Treating everyone with love and respect. God made me in his image so therefore I should act like his child. I have to forgive those who have done me wrong regardless of how bad I am hurt. (Ephesians 4:32 NIV) God has forgiven and made the ultimate sacrifice by giving the world his only Son. I shall treat people as I should like to be treated with love and respect. (Bilingual Bible New Edition n.d.) God had made man responsible for the land that we live in and the animals that reside on it. This was if not the first one of the first responsibilities given to man. Animals are to be treated with respect and not cruelty. (Proverbs 12:10 NIV) We have to be considerate of the life of the animals because all living things on this Earth were created by God. We have to have respect for the creation of our creator.
