INTRODUCTION
This contextual project consists of 10 concepts from the module in block 1. I will be writing on leadership, communication, planning, and assessment, nutritional and spiritual needs of patients, teamwork and evaluation.
Each of the concepts will be elaborated in terms of significance, implementation activities related to the concept, application in current job and usefulness of the concept in the current world.

CONCEPT 1: LEADERSHIP
Effective leadership is about creating and inspiring vision and then motivates and inspires others to reach that vision.
They also manage delivery of the vision either directly or indirectly, build and coach their teams to make them ever stronger.

- Monitoring the signs and symptoms of a particular disease condition.
- Reviewing diagnosis and medications.
- Taking history, past, present, related social life, personal and family history.
- Accurate recording of information.
- Using the MEWS tool:- This tool empowers the nurse to act on her or his clinical findings.
- Directing the subordinates:- an experienced staff may be able to assess and detect problems more junior nurse or student requires guidance.
- Follow up technique. (III) APPLICATION OF ASSESSMENT IN PLACE OF WORK
Used in constant monitoring of a patient condition e.g, a young man presented with central chest pain only displayed tarchycardia on admission, as a result his score was low, and so a further assessment was needed hours later.

(IV) USEFULNESS OF ASSESSMENT IN CURRUNT WORLD.
- Good assessment provides useful information to report credibility in achievement.
- Reveal quality of students understanding and thinking.
- Helps in knowing progress of development and level of potential development.
- Emphasis students ability to link ideas, apply knowledge and solve problems.
