Through faithfulness in God, many were promised eternal paradise. In the following paragraphs, I will explain the similarities and differences between the rituals, holy scripts, and salvation that these religions shared.

Belief is something that everyone has, whether it is regarding religion, opinions, or judgements. People believe in something. The main question is why do people believe? There has been constant debates on beliefs and if they should have sufficient evidence before they start believing in them. Many people, like Philosopher Blaise Pascal, who believe that beliefs do not need evidence. Pascal reasons that people should blinding believe, even if they do not have the evidence to prove it. However, there are people like William K. Clifford who propose the opposite. Clifford states that there are certain beliefs that require adequate evidence. Evidence is extremely important and definitely required for beliefs to be accepted. Adequate evidence
Different people would have different kinds of beliefs, and this would, in the long run, alter their perception on what to believe in. Depending on ones beliefs, he may judge things differently than his peers eg. In sciences, the whole idea of science is simply the latest theory, and how we know if the VERY first original basics on which this "fact" was based on, was actually true and not simply believed in. If the tools and "knowledge used" to get us where we are now was simply a belief, and someone's distorted perception of the "basics" used to get the knowledge, then the whole study of certain aspects of science would prove itself obsolete.
Religion has been around for thousands of years. Some people believed in many Gods, and some believed only in one God. The differences among people’s religious belief is obvious, but sometimes they share something in common about good and evil. How people acquired their religious beliefs depends on different factors. Most often, people are influenced from other people’s teaching. Sometimes a person’s environment can be a big reason on a person’s beliefs.
