To me this quote means that in order to succeed in life and accomplish things you need to have a wishbone, to mean that means you need to have a wish, a dream, and a goal. You also need a backbone for you to be able to stand up for yourself and your dreams. Last but not least, you need a funny bone, to give your life excitement and have fun.
In the quotes it says you need a wishbone to me this means that you have a dream, goal,or wish that you have and want achieve in your lifetime. For example, one of my dreams/goals in the future is to be a Physical Therapist. The wishbone to me is very important because if you don't have a wish or goal you don't know what you want in life. The wishbone also allows you to have goal, personal goals, academic

Having a backbone gives you the strength to stand up for what you believe in and your opinions, for example, i have the strength to stand up for my beliefs and stand up for myself when people try to put me down. It also gives you the guts to achieve your goals and dreams, you will be able to take risks to achieve those goals. A backbone to me is the most important part because you can't get through life without being able to stand up for yourself and your beliefs.
Last but not least is the funny bone. You need humour in your life, with all the crazy things going on in the world you need to have time to lay back and have fun. The funny bone allows you to do that, it allows you to just forget about everything else and have fun. Especially kids who are in school that constantly have homework and are stressed all the time, a funny bone allows them to laugh and let loose. The funny bone is important because if you don't have fun every now and then you can become too stressed.
In conclusion, to succeed in life you need three things a wishbone to have dreams and goals. A backbone to have strength to stand up for what you believe in. A funny bone to have fun and let loose in life every now and then. These three thing are very important in life, and are needed more than you
A Few Keys to All Success by Jim Muncy, published in 2002 explains that there are 7 universal keys to success that we can relate to everyday life. Discernment, Optimism, Responsibility, Initiative, Perseverance, Purpose, Sacrifice. Each one represents how we grow and teaches us how to have a high quality of life. From reading this book I am confident because I know being normal means being average and what we do can change how we act significantly. Also we can’t let the world hold us back from greatness. There will be negativity, there will be those who lack enthusiasm but you can’t let them interfere in what you have in store. And these keys will help you get to that point in your life. Discernment; Judge the seed by the harvest. The first
The skeletal system is an anatomical body system which consists of all the bones and joints in our bodies. In total, an adult body entails 206 distinct bones, arranged in the axial skeleton (80) and the appendicular skeleton (126). The latter division has bones in the limbs, pelvic girdle and the shoulder girdle, whilst the rest of the bones belong to the axial division. It’s a very important system therefore it has a few main functions. The most obvious is that it gives the body its rigid shape, which makes it relevant to other body functions like breathing, which is helped by the rib cage expanding to accommodate the movement of the lungs. Other functions include support to ensure that organs
The musculoskeletal system offers support and stability for your body so we can properly function and move around. Different types of muscle within the muscular system include cardiac, skeletal, and smooth. The reason our bodies are capable of producing movement is because of the way our muscles contract. Our adult skeletal structure is made up of 206 bones that all differ in shapes and sizes. The composing parts that make up the system include the bones, joints, and muscles that all connect so we’re capable of moving. These components allow for our bodies to maintain a stable structure that can keep us upright. The axial skeleton refers to the skull, the vertebral column which supports the spinal cord, ribs, and sternum. It offers protections
Flat bones – these include Scapula, sternum, cranium, os coxae, pelvis and ribs . Their main function is to provide protection to the body’s vital organs as well as being a base for muscular attachment.
The remarkable strength of the bones in this system provides protection for the vulnerable organs in the body.
One function is structuring and framing our bodies. Without our bones, we would be just a pile of organs. We need our bones so we can stand and take the shape of a human. Protection is another function of the skeletal system. Our skull protects our brain, our vertebrae protect our spinal cord, our sternum protects our heart and our ribs protect our lungs. Without the protection our bones provide, even the smallest poke or hit could result in a fatal accident. Also, our bones are attached to our muscles by tendons. When the muscles contract they move the bones which move our arms and our legs so we can walk or pick things up. Additionally, our blood is made in our bones through a process called hematopoiesis. This happens in the bone marrow which is located at the center of our

The skeletal system has several functions as well as some serious diseases and disorders. The skeletal system serves the purpose of supporting the body as well as protection for vital organs. The skeletal system is composed of 206 bones both male and female have the same amount depending on age. There are some interesting facts about human bones, for an example humans and giraffes have the same number of bones in their neck. The Femur is stronger than concrete and its hollow! The skeleton has several functions like supporting the body, protection for vital organs, and the production of blood cells. For support the skeletal system uses a series of bones like the femur, fibula, tibia, and the vertebral column (figure 1). The skeleton has a few joint throughout the body, such as the hinge joint found at the patella and the elbow joint. Both of these joints are referred to as Ginglymus or hinge joint. The other joint is the ball-and-socket which is located at the shoulder and neck. The skeletal system has two means of protection. The ribs are curved bones in the mid to upper cavity of th...
One of the strongest support systems of the human body is the skeletal system. The skeletal system is comprised of hundreds of bones that help protect our delicate internal organs. For example, our twelve pairs of ribs are designed to protect the heart, in which circulates blood throughout the body and allows us to survive. Both bones and muscles work simultaneously to also allow us to preform physical activities such as walking, running, and climbing. In order to continue preforming these day-to-day activities, it is important to keep our bones strong and healthy throughout our lifetimes.
Although your teeth are also considered part of your skeletal system, they are not counted as bones. Your teeth consist of enamel and dentin. Enamel is the strongest substance in your body. The main priority of the skeletal system is to provide support for the body. Without bones our body would be in a pile of guts and mush on the floor. Your skeleton furthermore assists to protect your internal organs and fragile body tissues. The brain, eyes, heart, lungs and spinal cord are all sheltered by your
An interesting quote by Reba McEntire states, “To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone.” This means that one needs luck, courage, and humor in order to succeed. Life can prove to be very challenging unless someone has these qualities.
My dad always tells us that a successful person has to have strong academic, communication and social skills. I thought that with my good performance in school and in public speaking competitions at our Sunday school, I had everything covered.
The skull is composed of 22 bones which are fused together expect for the mandible. The 21 fused bone are separated in children to allow the skull and brain to grow but fused to give an adult outstanding protection of the brain. The mandible remains a moveable bone because it is also known as the jaw bone and forms the only moveable joint with the temporal bone. The temporal bone is one of the two bones that form parts of the sides and
Never forget to laugh. "If you can laugh at it, you can survive it" (Cosby). Life is difficult for everyone. It is how people deal with these strives and struggle is what matters. Sometimes, the best way to get a break from the hardships of life is to simply laugh with friends and family. It’s a Balance process. Some people can be caught up in life’s problems and forget to laugh. Laughter is the mental medicine for life. Laughter supports the health of the body. Laughter can break up the quietness in a room.
