Currently, my lifetime goals are to finish high school with excellent grades, attend Texas A&M university with a degree in Construction Science or Industrial Distribution, work at Pine Cove Christian camp as a camp counselor at least one or two summers, get an interesting internship, land a satisfying first job with a reputable company, and then start my own business. In my personal life, I want to marry the girl of my dreams and start a family. I want my wife and I to raise our children in a positive, happy, Christian environment attending magnitudes of Aggie football games. Meanwhile, always keeping my focus on my faith and creator. Without Him nothing is possible. I will achieve this goal academically with the excellent education I received from Katy ISD and my hard work studying at Cinco Ranch High School. I am an active member going on 3 years. Young life is an organization that teaches high school kids about Jesus Christ and creates a fun non-threatening environment where kids can be themselves. I attended the two Young life camps in Colorado, Frontier Ranch and Wilderness Ranch. Both were amazing adventures. Young life will help in every aspect of my lifetime goals. Without a focus on Christ in my personal and professional life, there is no purpose. I feel extremely lucky to have grown up in an incredible school district, to receive an award winning education, and have the opportunities to experience such positive extracurricular activities. I have been blessed with supportive parents who have provided for me spiritually, financially and emotionally. Most importantly, I wouldn’t be where I am and have these amazing opportunities without my strong faith. I look forward to an amazing future. I’m ready for the ride. Gig’em! In all your ways acknowledge HIM and He will direct your path. Proverbs
My only life time ambition I have for myself is to be able to help each and every individual who comes my way needing help, becoming a social worker, a foster mom, and to adopt a child with Down Sydrome. I know and understand that my dreams might be a bit over my head for the average person, but I will accomplish them. At the end of my life when I am old, have gray hair, and my eye sight is even worse that it is now, I want to look back at my life knowing I was able to help everyone I possibly could.
Quite honestly, I feel lucky. I feel lucky that I matured early in life; with this new maturity I feel I can accomplish anything. I feel I can make a positive difference in this world. I feel like this experience will be the primary step in my success, in terms of my career, and in the launch of my Children in Need campaign in third world countries. I feel like the young superman who just learned how to fly, slightly aware of his magnificent impact on the world.
I aspire to become a leader in my family and community inspiring those around me to maximize life to its fullest potential. To use my God given gifts and talents to apply the principles necessary, to make a significant difference in the lives of others. To live a balanced life challenging myself intellectually as well as allowing time for my mind to rest and do things I enjoy. To look at life through a child’s eyes, not being distressed about the past or worrying about the future. All the while dancing like nobody’s watching.
Therefore, I do not have a specific long-term goal. Instead, I have a long-term goal that I hope will encompass everything that I do: to boldly shine my light and bless others. Serving and loving others has truly been a major theme, joy, and drive in my life and I simply do not want it to stop in college or in my future career path.
“Never underestimate your own strength. You were born for a purpose and are blessed with the power to achieve it” (Leon Brown). I have this quote printed out and on the wall next to my door so I can see it every day as a reminder to myself. I believe that we all have a purpose on this earth and that everything we go through on the journey there has a reason whether to teach a lesson or set an example. We have places where we want to end up and goals we want to achieve. We set these goals and dreams to help us fulfill the purpose we see for ourselves. I believe my purpose is to help people in their times of need. To fulfill my purpose, I will need to use my personal, academic and career goals to create a pathway to get to where I want to be

A goal that I made this year is to make the dean’s list every single time, for this I will study so hard for every test, do all of my homework, and ask questions when I have them and maybe even getting a tutor.
