If the fan car goes up against the wind provided by the large fan, then the car will go slower with increasing resistance, because there is more opposition between the two with every increase of speed.
As a Non-commissioned Officer you can expect me to be a professional leader dedicated to taking care of soldiers, the mission, and the army way of life. You can expect me to use Army Regulations, Technical Manuals, and direct orders from my superiors as my guidance on what actions to take in each situation faced whether tactical or technical. I will not be afraid to make sound and timely decisions in the absence of my leadership’s orders. When left in charge I will take charge.
It is well known that nowadays wind power is one of the fast developing energy sources of the world. Thats why one of the GE’s Energy business maintain a strong focus on building the wind power facility and delivering the technology in its fields and benefiting the advantages of wind power. GE has over 12,000 wind turbine operating in all around world with the countries like USA, Canada, China and Spain.
During the 1970's, HD was facing a decline in market share due to increased competition with Japanese companies. By phasing out weak models, becoming more selective, and limiting sales and promotions, HD was able to carve out a niche in the marketplace which it enjoys today. Now again faced with a period of decline, HD is relying on its newly adopted marketing objectives. First, HD needs to expand its potential customer base to include enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts young males, and females into buying HD motorcycles over any other competitor. This thought is accomplished through the introduction of the VRSC’S, and the lower and narrow Sportsters, Dyna’s, Softail’s and positioning them in the market to a younger demographic. Secondly, HD needs to position the VRSC’S, Sporster, Dyna and Softail to also appeal to first time buyers of motorcycles. HD's strong brand identity can help pull in new clients.
Equally important JL Racing uses celebrity marketing as most recently in their cycling line Nicky Haden. Celebrity endorsement is a highly effective strategy to gain consumer interests and brand loyalty in a cluttered marketplace. Furthermore, as stated in (Hung, K. 2014) celebrity endorsement literature in three ways. First, it delineates aspiration and play as two main types of motives consumers hold toward celebrities in the entertainment process. This complements current studies that regard celebrities as opinion experts and credible spokespersons in their buying decisions. Second, It centers on the encounters between the consumer and the celebrity in various media contexts, such as movies, shows, and games. As studies on celebrity worship
So, in 2003, it was the celebration of the 100th birthday of the Harley-Davidson. And, in order to commemorate it, fans of this famous brand rode until Milwaukee to see the parade of 10 000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Through this celebration, we can see how recognized this brand is for the owners, or should I say fans. Indeed, this case also shows how the strategy and the marketing of Harley-Davidson are good; because Harley has fans and they will do all they can for their bikes and their brand.

The need for alternative energy is a pressing issue for countries all over the world. One of the solutions this for problem is wind power, which has been in use for many thousands years. “About 5000 years ago, the ancient Egyptians used wind to sail ships on the Nile River. Later, people built windmill to grind wheat and other grains. American colonists used windmill to pump water, and cut wood at sawmill. In 1920s, they started to use it to generate electricity.” (Renewable energy trends, 2005).
Ownership and control of production ; vertically integrated manufacturing operation to enable its constant introducing of new items and also ensure short lead time
A lot of cultures have taken advantage of wind energy for hundreds of decades. It was used when sails were incorporated to navigate the River Nile in 5000BC and Persians used -windmills in 500AD so that they could pump water and grind grain. Now-a-days, wind energy is being realized as one of the “most promising new energy sources” and is going to be an important alternative in years to come.
A wind turbine is a device that converts kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical energy. If the mechanical energy is used to produce electricity, the device may be called a wind generator, wind charger or wind turbine. If the mechanical energy is used to drive machinery, such as for grinding grain or pumping water, the device is called a windmill or wind pump (Niki 2007). Today modern wind turbines typically have three blades. The blades are usually colored light gray to blend in with the clouds and range in length from 20 to 40 meters or more. The tubular steel towers range from 60 to 90 meters tall. The blades rotate at 10-22 revolutions per minute. At 22 rotations per minute the tip speed exceeds 91 meters per second (Rosenbloom, 2006). The modern horizontal-axis, three-bladed wind turbine can be divided into three main components. First, the rotor component, which includes the blades for converting wind energy to low speed rotational energy. Second is the generator component, which includes the electric generator, the control electronics, and most likely a gearbox component for converting the low speed incoming rotation to high speed rotation suitable for generating electricity. The control system engages protective features to avoid damage at high wind speeds. Finally, the structural support component includes the tower and rotor yaw mechanism that turns the turbine towards the wind. (Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, 2006)

As the wind energy industry continues to grow, it will provide many job opportunities for workers and job seekers. These careers will extend beyond just the wind farm. To build and operate a wind turbine, it will take the efforts of many workers. The workers will be in factories and offices. There are construction employees, electricians, engineers, operators, gearbox makers and bla...
The Wind Turbine is a device that converts the kinetic energy of the wind into kinetic energy of turbines. The turbines turn to generate electricity but they work only when there is wind. The efficiency is 30-40%. The environmental impacts are needs many large turbines to generate electricity which can be noisy and unsightly. Turbines may endanger birds and bats.
