A scene that shows ineffective verbal communication The scene describes an employee in a day to day work in office. From what I observed at first, manager asked his assistant to send a purchase order to a stationary shop while leaving the office. It happened to be the time assistant attending to a phone call. Manager was in a hurry so after saying what he wanted to say, he left the office. Though he knew his assistant was in a busy manner, he didn’t care enough to repeat what he said and didn’t even wait for a respond from his assistant. It was obvious that the assistant wanted to clarify what the manager said, but since he has already left the office. She was unable to do so. With a little bit of disappointment on her face she went to call him. As a result of this the assistant could not perform the task. It wouldn’t had happen if the manager had called to the assistant to his desk and told the task that has to be done. The second factor is physical. Because the assistant was attending to one task.
