Use the Six-Step Decision Making Model to describe the planning for purchasing a new school outfit for an elementary girl in Grade 5 (Age 10) that you are responsible for (parent or guardian). Clearly define the problem or situation. There are many places to buy outfits, we are going to need to pick one of these stores. We also need to pick an outfit for this girl which she is going to like and is going to be fashionable but also practical for her everyday Fifth-Grade activities. List the various options and alternatives available. We could purchase an outfit from a clothing store, a second hand store, or sew it. I think it would be more practical to buy one, because I wouldn't want to spend such time and effort on something a Fifth-Grade girl might wear and tear at school. The cons of this are that it may be quite expensive, and you might have to travel far away to find an outlet mall. The pros of buying an outfit second hand is that it will be less expensive, and won't matter too much when doing activities and playing at school. The cons are that the clothing at these stores may be worn out or unfashionable for the girl, or they store might not have too much variety. Lastly the pros or sewing an outfit is that you can choose they way it looks, the way it fits and the practicality.
