Instructor 1 assignment incorporated cooperation and collaboration as well as fostered a team environment so that all team members could reach their highest potential. As a team we were directed to establish goals, classify goals, define behavioral goals, evaluate objectives demonstrated through situations, measure assessment, collect performance data, and compare data with goals. This activity alone signifies that this instructor leadership model corroborates Grogan (2013), definition of leadership as he suggest that leaders are take charge individuals who solve problems along the way as they move towards achieving the vision. Overall, this college would provide a good education with three of my most beloved and favoured subjects for my career goals/interest. So, my keen interests are my three picked courses that have the grade requirements that I am available to overcome and exceed. Also, this college is very close to my location (7 Hadley Croft, B66 1DP) and provides a bus service in Oldbury and West Bromwich, which is a perfect combination to travel to this college. Overall, there won’t be any worry or difficulty of reaching Halesowen College thus this place forms to be an excellent place for me to continue my education for Year 12 and Year 13.

Every group project provides a teachable experience and this one has been no different. I have learned some things during this Capstone team project, however, more than not, this team project has reinforced or refreshed my memory regarding lessons that I have already learned during the numerous other group projects that I have participated in and lead during my collegiate development here at Davenport University. One of the most significant things that I have learned during my project experiences is that, whether or not one is labeled as the team leader or project / group manger / leader is far less important that how one leads the group. I have, on occasion, lead groups from behind even though I have not been elected or otherwise been placed into a leadership position.
The leadership is a privilege and it is such a privilege and an honor which will carry the tremendous responsibility which will inspire others to direct them to accomplish goals and vision of the organization. Leadership is about influencing the people, by producing direction, purpose and motivating in order to accomplish the mission, vision and improving the organization. The leadership philosophy is evolved based on the experiences, both positive and negative, in most of the initiatives and activities that we undertake. It is also one among the collaboration and teamwork within which the team members can utilize each other’s strengths to counter the weaknesses of the individuals. By observing, introspecting and experimenting we can developed a leadership paradigm which is inclusive, collaborative and proactive. We can develop the ability to recognize which will approach in order to reach the productive conclusion. The great leaders know their limitations and are capable at utilize their strengths and also the strengths of others to compensate.

Realizing that a group can become a high performance team is important. Accomplishing this goal is invaluable, advantageous and profitable. Once able to operate from a group to the high performing team is a great step into preparation into the big business world. Leaders and members must also realize not only how to accomplish this but that some problems will and can arise from different demographic characteristics and cultural diversity. That is if one is in such a group, which the probability would be quite high.
