In the movie a man who’s real name is Tim Thomas, but he impersonates his brother Ben Thomas an IRS agent, and helps several people throughout the movie. Why does he go so far as to kill himself in order to help other people live? The value of his life left when his wife died in a car crash, so he wanted to help other people get to live their life to the fullest because he lost a sense of purpose. And his new purpose was to help good people. Every vital organ in his body was transplanted to someone he knew was a good person. To Tim their individual moral character was what he used to value someone's life, whether they deserved what he was going to give them.
