Recommended: Family influence on children's development

This i believe essay I believe in change and all the good things that change can bring. Every person likes change whether it be a new phone or a new car. But the best change that has happened to me was when we changed churches. We have been going to a really big church called gateway for about 6 years. Most sundays mornings we woke up at nine changed clothes and left. When we got there i worshiped for an hour and put on a fake smile when seeing some of my mom's very talkative friends on the way out the door. Which i was fine with because i wasn't doing any talking and we were usually playing xbox by eleven. So when my parents asked my brother and i if we wanted to switch to another church called the hills. At first i was a little …show more content…

But my brother and i agreed to check it out to see if we liked it. When we were done with the worship we went downstairs and and found a small breakfast area. With all kinds of doughnuts, kolaches and they have hot chocolate in the winter. After breakfast my parents showed my brother and i where our classes were. Which i wasn't thrilled about because at gateway it was only an hour and at the hills it was one and a half hours plus a class. But i actually surprisingly liked it Because i found a lot of old friends and made some new ones too. We had a great time, the student minister was awesome because he very funny and remembered my name! The best part is the size of the church because i see my friends every day and it feels like a big family. Also i like that the small groups were very small and you don't have to talk in front of a lot of people. After church we went out to eat lunch with some church friends to talk and hang out. When we got home our parents asked us if we liked it and wanted to switch or if we wanted to stay at gateway.
