The Woods
Sally and Jimmy, are two siblings that are very close to each other. The year is 1987, in Logan, West Virginia. Both Sally and Jimmy lived with their parents considering the fact that, Jimmy is 16 and Sally is 12. Both Sally and Jimmy would be lost without each other.
First of all, Sally and Jimmy have the strangest brother and sister relationship. They have their up’s and down’s, but who doesn’t? Jimmy, enjoys exploring things, especially the woods. The woods is where he can have time to himself. He also, has his own hideout to hide, have peace, and hunt. There is a secret trail only Jimmy knows where it is. It gets covered with slight leaves, twigs, and branches. Jimmy, finally decides to tell Sally about it. Sally packs food and

important supplies with them. While walking, both of them were caught red-handed going into the forbidden woods. The consequences will be brutal. They have to confess to their parents.
Meanwhile, Jimmy and Sally’s parents are so cruel and vicious. Both Sally and Jimmy are terrified of their parents. Both parents have such a poisonous and venomous tongue. Whenever their parents find out, they’re going to be furious. No more doing anything, ever again. Both parents, have been to prison. They misunderstand everything and everybody. The both misjudge people, babies, and everything! They are absolutely crazy! Everybody and everything they see, they have a problem with. Both of them judge a book by its cover, way too much. Both Sally and Jimmy felt unloved and uncared for. Only because they’re parents are selfish, and self-centered! After all, both parents teach a good lesson. Which is to trust no one. Both Jimmy and Sally snuck out of the house, in the middle of the night.
Finally, the first place they go to is the woods. Jimmy perfectly knows his way around the woods. Whenever the parents found out the kids were missing, they called the police to find the kids. The kids go deeper, and deeper into the woods, just where the hideout is. Whenever the Sally and Jimmy arrived, something was different, something strange. Something that has never been around before. It was all behind the hideout.
“An electric fence?” asked Sally.

“It appears so,” responds Jimmy.
“But how could that be?” Sally reminded
“Jimmy has no comment.”
Behind the fence, appeared to be a log cabin. On the fence, there is a sign, with no trespassing! Both passed the fence by going through a short cut. Turns out, there are strange lifelike figures in the house. They had gotten to the porch, they both looked curiously at each other. Finally, they begin to enter the strange log cabin.
Entering the house, all the life like figures they thought they saw, turned out to be wax figures. Both Sally and Jimmy were disturbed, they had no clue what was happening. The house was oddly strange.
“Think we can stay here?” asked Sally.
“I believe we can,” Jimmy responded.
Everything is different now, so that’s what they think. A few days go by and they’re still staying in the house. Outside of the house, they hear something crunching in the woods. Maybe it’s an animal, maybe it is a lost person perhaps. Jimmy glanced outside of the window to find it is a police officer outside. Jimmy dunks down to go warn Sally, they both quietly hide in the locked closet, as the police officer enters the old abandoned house. Whenever the suspicious police officer enters, he glances up, down, and then wonders about the cabin. Meanwhile, Sally is scared the police officer is going to find them, she starts breathing heavily, and

rapidly.
“Calm down,” Jimmy said quietly.
“I’m sorry Jimmy, I could never bare to go back to our parents,” responded Sally.
“It will all be okay, I promise,” Jimmy answered.
Jimmy kept his promise, and they never had to leave. The police officer never caught them in the tight dark closet. He has seen nothing at all. Jimmy and Sally boarded up the doors and windows and never came out again.
