The Whole Person is a center for independent living who serves our consumers in the consumer-directed services program as a fiscal agent. Our consumers receive Medicaid funds to pay Personal Care Attendants (PCA). Under Medicaid, The Whole Person as a fiscal manager creates the checks for the Consumer (employer) to pay the PCA (employee) for services. Recently The Whole Person has starting to receive letters from the Health Insurance Marketplace a division of the Department of Health and Human Services stating our organization did not offer the PCAs health benefits. Since The Whole Person is not the employer of the PCAs this is not our responsibility. We tried to resolve the matter with HHS and they told us we should contact the I.R.S because
Phase I addressed basic statutory definitions, general prohibitions, and explanations of what constitutes a financial relationship between a physician and a health care entities providing DHS’. Phase II deals with the regulatory exceptions, reporting requirements, and public comments pertaining to Phase I. Finally, Phase III Final Regulations were published in September of 2007, and largely addressed comments made after publication of the Phase II rules and regulations. It also reduced some of the regulations placed upon the healthcare industry by explaining and modifying some of the exceptions related to financial relationships between physicians and DHS entities where there is minimal risk of abuse to the patient, Medicare or Medicaid.

During my time in the ward, I recently had a patient with alcohol dependency in my care. My patient, Mr Grey was a 51 year old male patient who was admitted with a fractured neck of femur and consistent hypertension. Mr Grey required a vast amount of medical treatment for his injuries. As well as Mr Grey’s physiological problems he also had poor mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. We later discovered my patient had some social issues and that he was homeless.
Personal Narrative: The World The world is a messed up place and we are all stuck here until our lives are through, or until we choose to leave. It's strange that I go along with everything everyone tells me, such as that I should wear certain clothes or listen to certain songs. I often wonder why I do the things I do, but then I just realize that's who I am. People are confused about why they are here, and they don't understand what life is supposed to be about.
Following the Berlin Wall’s construction in the 1960’s, citizens within the East German state were under heavy surveillance from the Ministry for State Security, or the Stasi, in an attempt to “know everything about everyone.” Directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, the movie The Lives of Others follows one particular Stasi agent as he carries out his mission to gather information on a well-known writer and his lover. As the film progresses, the audience is able to detect the moral transformation of Stasi Captain Hauptmann Gerd Wiesler primarily through the director 's manipulation of the script, colors and lighting, and music.
Altering human DNA to be the very best at its full potential is viewed by many to be corrupt and only dooming ourselves to have split societies. Science has come a long way from genetically cloning animals to in the near future, genetically engineering a child with certain characteristics the parents are willing to give. Does this necessarily mean that the child is made to do exactly what he or she is genetically coded to do? This is a major concern from basically taking away any sort of human right the child may have in having a choice, but also rules can be regulated based on trial and error exercises. While genetically altering genes is within our lifetime, we should be able to use it only if it is closely regulated with rules and guidelines necessary.
The humanistic perspective on personality deals exclusively with human behavior. Humanistic psychologists believe that human nature includes a natural drive towards personal growth, that humans have the freedom to choose what they do regardless of environmental factors, and humans are mostly conscious beings and are not controlled by unconscious needs and conflicts. They also believe that a person's subjective view of the world is more important than objective reality. Two of the humanistic theorists that have made an impact of humanism are Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow.
Reflecting on the Person-Centered Therapy, it is similar to the Existential Therapy because it focuses on the client/therapist relationship, where the therapist needs to be totally genuine, empathetic and non-judgmental toward their clients in order to gain the client’s trust. I like the fact that the Person-Centered Therapy views the client as their best authority on their own experience, and being fully capable of fulfilling their own potential for growth. I also like the fact that the therapist is non-directive, does not give advice and there is no specific technique involved. Person Centered Therapy can basically develop their own technique as their relationship develop with the client.
Due to the development of my manipulative (self-feeding) and locomotor skill (walking), I entered the fundamental period. It began around 1 year of age and ended around 7 years of age. The sequences between the three poses (warrior I, II and III) is focused a lot on balancing technique, lower limbs strength and maintaining posture. Therefore, during my years in the fundamental period, I was developing body management skills, more muscle strength in my lower limbs, and cognitive abilities. My coordinative structure emerged from the pattern generation, the group of neurons in my spinal cord produced rhythmical moment, allowing me to be able to walk, then run, gallop, jump, hop, and skip. Which follows a sequence, just how my yoga pose follows
The use of a person’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors is what Funder uses to define personality (Funder, 2013). Using this definition of personality the best ways to theorize about Subject A, or Paco, is to use the “Big Five” and use his Culture. Parts of these two theories can help to explain certain parts of Paco’s personality.
Steve Jobs is in a meeting about his upcoming computer, Lisa, and he asks how the fonts are coming along. One of his workers, and his best programmer says that even though Jobs has been asking about the fonts for months, “it isn’t exactly a pressing issue.” Jobs and his worker strongly disagree on this. This disagreement escalates to the worker asking “are you going to fire me?”, in a considerable amount of disbelief to which Jobs yells,”no, I already fired you. Why are you still here?!” Another worker brings up that he was indeed the best programmer the company had, however Jobs says that if he didn’t share the visions necessary for the company’s growth, then he wasn’t truly vital to Apple.
Finding of Fact #1: With the addition of Simon Fester to the Lab Team it is evident from the start that there was workplace incivility from the senior members and Bob Knowlton. The members feel threatened by the knowledge level of Fester and his habit of speaking his mind and pointing out mistakes make by the existing team.
- I will briefly discuss how I was raised and how it possibly changed my personality over time.
The Perfect Human Being Is All Of Us Together That Make Perfection written by: karakia
"One act of simple human kindness can make a real difference." For example, one can make a short and tender call to an acquaintance and save this person's future career or even hisher life during that call. A few weeks ago from the innermost of my heart, I felt a premonition. Which I felt my heart was passing a message to me: "call your friend who is studying in London for her degree." At that moment I suddenly realized that I had not contacted her for at least six months, which is not the correct way to treat friends. Nevertheless, I am glad that I made this phone call to her, as we are old friends. However, on the other hand I was given her bad news. She told me unspeakable things; she was being deceived by her boyfriend, as well as has asked to leave their little lovely flat immediately. Besides these ugly things, the upper most thought in my mind was she might fell abandoned by society, and do something unimaginable to herself, like give up her studies, or even to put an end to her young and beautiful life.
