Subway has exploded since it opened, which was 1965. There is now more subway restaurants that there is McDonalds. As an employee of subway, I have learned many things. Also I have found out that it may look like it is the easiest job, but sometimes it is not. When opening in the morning, there are many things that have to be done. At the subway location that I am employed at, between eight and ten-thirty, there is time to make setups and do the other chores. When doing setups in the morning, there is a list of things to be made to go by. Most of the set-ups are very time consuming, and may take up some time. When putting the food in the containers, the containers have to be labeled; which have to have the name, date, and time put on them. …show more content…
The bread is laid at night and put in a bread cabinet in the refrigerator. Then the following morning, the bread should be thawed and able to be put in the proofer. The bread comes out of the freezer as white or wheat. Before putting the bread in the proofer, there has to be so many of the five types of bread. There are two types of bread that has to have seasoning put on them before putting in the proofer. The proofer is basically a heater that helps mold the bread for the oven. It usually takes about forty minutes for the bread to mold. When the bread it the right molding size, the bread goes into the oven for twelve …show more content…
Each pan can fit up to twelve cookies. The cookies come prepackaged, and all that has to be done is placing them on a pan. Good thing about the cookies is that it only takes eight minutes to cook. Also, the flatizza bread has to be cooked and all it takes is four flatbread footlongs. These eight six inches will go on a pan and cook for five minutes. By the time everything that the morning shift has to do is done, it is time for the lunch rush to come in. The rush usually last thirty minutes to an hour. Depending on the type of day, it may be slower than that or even busier. After the rush, all the veggies and meats have to be restocked. When everything is restocked, remade, and cleaned, it is time for the night crew to come in. If the day crew has not finished the chores in time, they stay till it is done. When night crew gets there, veggie change has to be done. Veggie change is where ten things have to have new containers if they haven’t been switched out since that morning. Then, the bain has to be cleaned and chips have to be stocked. Soon after, ice has to be done and tea has to be remade. Also, the cookies and flatizzas have to be checked on to make sure more of those don’t have to be made. When finished, there is not anymore chores that have to be done until dark. Periodically, the dishes have to be washed or sauces have to be

Their goal was to set up 32 stores within 10 years of their starting. Providing excellent customer service, high quality product, keeping operating costs low and finding great locations are the key factors behind the success of Subway. These continue to serve as the foundation for successful SUBWAY restaurants around the world.
I also have experience as a shift sergeant where I was in charge of posting 124 officers a day for a swing shift and ensuring that minimum staffing requirements were met. As a shift sergeant I also had to complete officer's evaluations annually, occasionally write performance cards and also ensure completion of on the job training forms. I also have had to schedule leave for the officers and senior officers with respect to institutional staffing needs. I have had to respond to all major incidents and sign the meal report for dinner

Most residents, unless they do not want to, need to be in bed by 9 o’clock. Along with putting residents to bed, CNAs have charting to do before their shift ends. Charting typically includes documenting if the CNA noticed irregular behavior, changes in the skin, etc. Charting needs to be done before rounds at ten o’clock start. At rounds, CNAs toilet the resident, change the bed pads if needed, and pass water. CNAs perform rounds every two hours. Between rounds, CNAs answer call lights. Although CNAs need to work fast, they also need to be
The Underground Railroad despite occurring centuries ago continues to be an “enduring and popular thread in the fabric of America’s national historical memory” as Bright puts it. Throughout history, thousands of slaves managed to escape the clutches of slavery by using a system meant to liberate. In Colson Whitehead’s novel, The Underground Railroad, he manages to blend slave narrative and history creating a book that goes beyond literary or historical fiction. Whitehead based his book off a question, “what if the Underground Railroad was a real railroad?” The story follows two runaway slaves, Cora and Caesar, who are pursued by the relentless slave catcher Ridgeway. Their journey on the railroad takes them to new and unfamiliar locations,
To solve this problem, we need the cafeteria to be open more hours. If it is because of the need of workers in those other times, it is a big change that even students won't mind to work in the cafeteria to have it open for longer hours. Another idea would be to have longer hours open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even if it is not open for the whole day, longer hours might allow more comfort ability for everyone. We know that with out food, one cannot concentrate in their studies, nor perform their work well.
The first thing you will need to do is gather everything that is essential to the task. This should be simple because there are only eight ingredients. They consist of flour tortillas, refried beans, ground beef, grated cheese, green onions, tomatoes, mushroom soup, and sour cream. You will also need a large mixing bowl, a frying pan, a pot, a knife, a spatula, four or five tablespoons, and a nine by thirteen glass baking dish.

This is very important, not only on the job but in your personal life as well. When your late to work it may give off the impression that you do not like working and being there is just a waste of time. Arriving to work early shows dependability and that you care about your job. From my own experience, I do not like getting up early in the mornings. I set two to three alarms that help me wake up to get ready for work. If I know that I have to be to work at 8:00am. I set my alarm clock for 5:00am. This allows me enough time to wake up, groom, dress, have breakfast and travel to work. My morning routine allows me to get to work a half hour early and also allows me to gather materials or hear briefings in regards to projects we that will be carried out for that day or that week. Being on time is important with everything you do.
They arrive and get there bags dropped off, it is the last day the hotel is open
I recommend that we decrease the average service times for all food stations as well as reduce the minimum service time for the interactive cooking station and increase the inter-arrival time. We can implement this by offering specials a half hour to an hour before the rush period begins, have enough precooked meals available to accommodate the rush and precook the ingredients for the interactive station. We can also have the manager step in as the second cashier whenever a certain amount of time transpires. The cashier on duty can signal to the manager by hand gestures or a light when the wait time has exceeded two minutes, respectively. I also recommend that the layout of the cafeteria be changed. The new layout will give us better organization of the lines in order to decrease confusion.
With the purpose of practice strong routine people together with boosting their overall healthiness and disciplined attitudes and avoiding unwholesome diseases and unwarranted complications, one should get up early in the morning.
