The National Basketball Associations, Golden State Warriors are approaching history. They are the number 1 ranked team in the league and the quest for winning a record 73 games is well within reach. The keys they play by have helped them be the success they are. The consistent 3 point shooting threat has left many shaking their heads in disbelief. Always making the extra pass has allowed them to strive on and off the ball. Most importantly teamwork both on offense and defense has led them to be ranked among the league’s best in both. As long as the Golden State Warriors keep shooting the three point shot the way they have been, along with great passing and teamwork they will pass the record held by the 1995-1996 Michael Jordan led Chicago bulls team. With superstar snipers in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson it is no wonder the Golden State Warriors lead the NBA in 3 point shooting percentage. Not only are they shooting over 40% from behind the 3 point line, which many consider to be the barometer of an elite shooter, as a team they are the number 1, three point shooting team with a 4...

Lebron, who plays shooting guard and small forward, stands at an athletic six-eight. James, however, never played in the NCAA. He was drafted straight out of high school in the 2003-04 season, by the Cleveland Cavaliers. James is already on the road to success by achieving co-rookie of the year, and he appeared in the Olympics. James is expected to be a champion, but he may not have what it takes to become a real champion such as Michael Jordan was. Before Jordan or James can be categorized as a champion, they have to be able to handle pressure, fame, and maintain a positive relationship with their team. When comparing Jordan and James’ clutch capabilities, or their ab...

No matter what sport you may find interesting, basketball will always be one of the greatest. From China to France, England to Australia basketball is not just a game but a part of life. It doesn’t matter if you’re better than LeBron or worse than Austin, the real winning in basketball is the smile on your face when you hit that jumper, or assist that alley-oop, or even dribble the ball down the court. Basketball isn’t just found in the dreams of small children, but is also found in the hearts of many.
The NBA should develop a differentiation leadership strategy. Events that the NBA has organized are becoming irrelevant when compared to its rivals’. For example, the MLB’s All-Star Game has an impact on post-season results. The MLS’s All-Star game features the league’s best against top European soccer clubs. The NHL’s All-Star Game features a ton of scoring in a sport that typically has low scores. There is no novelty factor for the NBA during its All-Star Weekend. Only the NFL’s Pro Bowl is worse than the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in terms of entertainment value.
The Los Angeles Lakers are a professional basketball team that is located in Los Angeles, California. They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Los Angeles Lakers is 16-time NBA champion team with their last champion win in 2010. I chose the Los Angeles Lakers Team because they are one of my favorite teams in the NBA, even though they did not make the playoffs this year. While growing up and still today, if the Lakers are playing, the television is always on for everyone in my family to watch. My 92-year-old grandma especially would always and still watch the Lakers play and pray for them if they are losing against the other team. Some marketing topics I will cover in my paper are the Lakers promotions strategy, stadium factors, and their recognition and interaction with fans.
Tanking has been one of the most serious issues in National Basketball Association (NBA) for last couple decades. In every sport league, there are always some teams cannot win games and become jokes sticks for others. No one wants to be a joke stick, or in other words, a tanker. However, in NBA, there is a different story. Unlike other sport leagues, in NBA, the difference between good teams and bad teams is extremely huge.
