It is widely known fact that overworked workers are less productive, unhealthy and they are much prone to absenteeism. Of course, every employer looks for dedicated and loyal workers. But, it is also important for employees to balance their life. Undoubtedly, there are some ways; employers can encourage their workers to have healthy habits. 1. Have Management Set The Example:- It seems very simple solution to motivate employees to seek for work-life balance – have management set the example. But this usualy come as a major challenge. So it becomes very crucial to have a management balancing work and life because employees look up to them and follow their seniors. 2. Business owners could use incentives and gifts to encourage the workers. For instance, a store owner could initiate the idea that whoever brings ten new customers to the store this week will get a bonus in their pay check.
