Mujtaba and Sungkhawan (2011) states that situational leadership is the most popular leadership model of the day because it is practical and applies to every aspect of life, including government and corporate management. Transformational leadership theory has captured the interest of many researchers in the field of organizational leadership over the past three decades. According to Henman (2016) this theory states that leadership is the process by which a person engages with others and can create a connection that results in increased motivation and morality in both followers and leaders. Givens (2008) states this theory was developed by Burns in 1978 and later enhanced by Bass in 1985 and 1998 and others (Avolio & Bass, 1988; Bass & Avolio, 1994; Bennis & Nanus, 1985; Tichy & Devanna, 1986). Givens (2008) opined that transformational leaders inspire employees to accomplish more by concentrating on their values and helping them align these values with the values of the organization. Transformational leadership has been linked to an array of outcomes, such as employee commitment. Across the globe, there are CEO’s, managers, and several other individual’s in leadership-type roles that have the expectation of making their company successful in the eyes of the investors, the employees, and the customers that they serve. This may be measured by a company’s gross profitability, employee engagement or overall customer satisfaction. Most companies have leadership models and strategies in place that leaders are expected to use in order to drive the expectations of the company while maintaining consistency across the business. In an effort to examine various types of leadership styles, I have conducted interviews with two individuals that are or have been previously tasked with leading their teams and their company towards success.

In our BA-509 Leadership Development course, we learned about the Transformational Leadership Theory. Additionally, they encourage their employees to be innovative and creative, and reward them for doing so. Currently in Palestine the followers are trying to ameliorate life and figure who will replace Arafat. For when there is an absence of leadership it causes followers to panic. The panic of the people leads to the confusion of their everyday life. Leadership implies that a person must posses certain qualities. There are many traits that must be shown to be a good leader. If a leader is noncommittal and callow then a society will fail. However when trying to restore order in a society one person may try to accomplish it by themselves but this rarely works. When working alone or in a small group, three things can happen and lead to more disarray. These things are isolation, too much authority, and control.
