The Hero Within

In different areas where people live around the world, they interact with a lot in life. They also encounter many changes. Some say that a Hero is someone who saves the day from evil and hell. Others say that it’s also someone who does what’s best. While people see what’s known as a hero, others come into mind asking about the hero how to can be around others. In world anything, or anyone anywhere regardless of background.

One of the ways I see a hero is by someone being a catalyst for society change. That shows someone making a difference in life. One example shown is by Sherman Alexie where he talks about growing up reading books at home in Superman and Me. Most of the people in the reservation he grew up in didn’t feel like moving up in the world, Sherman was different than the others due to the reason that in his world a very smart Indians shows a lot of danger in their society for that even today tribes believe that “a smart Indian is dangerous” (Alexie 294). The danger of intelligence in their society means that either that they’ll no longer be a part of their society or that they could try to take over parts of their society.

This however shows how his spirit was hard to be broken despite by other treatment being put into the fact that he went through so much pain. Hard Rock showed that hope existed and that it showed to never stand your ground. He was known to “not take shit from nobody” (Knight 194). That he did while he was in prison especially with racism inside the prison. Some disagree saying that he wasted his time trying to switch things around even when part of his brain was removed, but I see t...

...le. In some parts it doesn’t necessarily have to be a person it could be anything to a dog. Like said also while a hero leads by example a hero is also anyone who is confident in their ability to anyone else in need while then bringing positive action. During the attacks of 9/11 many working dogs with law enforcement and otherwise. He kept on going whether his peers wanted it or not. It showed that he wanted change for himself and he wanted changes from others later on. He was heroic because after he changed his ways he then helped others read and learn more knowledge so then they could excel and take the lead.

Another relation to this is from the actions of Nelson Mandela during the twentieth century as he brought society to a great change. He ended the apartheid in mainly South Africa and led others to the end of discrimination, and also a high revolt.
