The NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct is a guideline designed to assist early childhood educators and other professionals who may work in infant and toddler programs through kindergarten. It also includes childcare centers and family childcare homes .It is organized into four sections that gives standard of principles, ideals values and responsibilities. This helps the educators work with a station that may be difficult they can fall on the code for assists.

The first is the ethical responsibility you have is to children. This means making sure children are safe, and learning needs are being taken care of. Educators need to make sure they are supporting children in the best way possible. The second ethical responsibility you have is to families. This meaning to make sure you are communicating with families about their child's progress. The third responsibility is to colleagues. They need to make sure they are all working together and. This helps everything to run smoothly. The last ethical responsibility is to the community. Educators need to make sure the programs they are offering to meet the needs of everyone in the community. Education, we hear that word quite frequently but what does it mean? Miriam Webster’s Dictionary defines education as “the knowledge and development resulting from an educational process”. Everyone needs some education to be a success in life. The amount and types of education can vary but we all need the basics of reading, writing and math to be successful in life, and to be professional in the workplace. I see education as a step to success in the future. Education ideally results in effective communication, and a successful professional life. We have alternate ways of learning, and new things to learn as a result of technology.
In most of the modern world, education is a staple of life. It is considered a mark of civilization, as it is thought that a person needs to be educated to be successful. Education is how people learn the skills required to live a full, happy, and meaningful life. Today, those skills seem obvious; you learn math and science to understand the world around you and to deal with financial and business problems. English, language, and History are taught for communication and the lessons they provide.
Curriculum is the organized framework that explains the content that children are to learn, the processes through which children achieve the identified curricular goals, what teachers do to help children achieve these goals and the context in which teaching and learning occur. The best curriculum for early childhood teacher is developmentally appropriate curriculum that allows teachers to set-up an effective learning environment for children.
Lastly discipline is another very important responsibility. The best thing to do is to pick your battles, because if you are constantly saying “no” your child will tune it out. You also have to be consistent. For example, you can’t let your child eat candy before dinner one night and then tell them not to the next night, you will be sending them mixed signals.

Teachers are often put in situations that require more than just knowing the basic school rules. It is within these situations, that the ethical dilemmas occur. There is not always a right way to deal with many daily problems that face educators, but there are ways to handle situations that are better then others.
Education is the most important activity that every human should be an active partaker. Education is an activity that is designed to bring about changes in the knowledge, skills, attitudes and perceptions of individuals, groups or communities.
Everyone has that one person in their life has influenced to be who they are. Some weren’t meant to be looked up to, still somehow that person shaped them to be who they are today. It could be anyone, a friend, teacher, most of the time a parent. A parent that has influenced their child would be a hard parent, who disciplined and showed the real world to their kid, for what it really is. In hopes that their kid will survive the real world and pass on their knowledge to their kids and their children and so on.
