John Dallas Costa, Ethical Imperative wrote: "Not long ago the concerns of ecologists were as irrelevant to business planners as those of ethicists are today. “Green” has gone from being a disparagement to becoming a badge that no smart company would risk being without. Ethics are similarly en route to becoming a strategic imperative." The three companies chosen for this evaluation range from a foundation whose entire existence is based on helping people to a corporation who is basically a monopoly for power in several U.S. states and whose #1 goal is profit. Martha and the other Ingram Family members have all been the donors to and/or directors of, various family foundations and private Donor Advised Funds over the years. Currently most of the Ingram family relies on Donor Advised Funds administered through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CMFT) for their philanthropy. The move to Donor Advised Funds holds several advantages over those of a family foundation; not the least of which is the ability make large gifts anonymously and not disclose asset and donation information.

After analyzing the Coastal Medical Center, it is apparent that the employees and staff have no conception of the mission, vision, and values of this health care facility. In addition to this lack of structure, CMC has many projects in the midst of production that lack support of a common goal, employees are unsatisfied with their jobs, the two boards lack ability to agree on strategic decisions for the organization,, and the medical center has a dismal reputation when it comes to quality care.
“Our job is to make this community successful, economically,” Savell said. “Our job is literally... Someone comes to us, they may have problems and so we work with them, write or help do whatever they need to do. Our interest isn’t to decline or to sit back and be the big dog and scare anybody off.

The Texas Student Housing scholarship will allow me an opportunity to work towards a clear foundation of my future business – one which I am determined will ameliorate the world. Without this scholarship, much of my efforts will be used towards paying for housing and tuition. However, with this scholarship, I will be able to efficiently allocate my time and resources towards my business, which I hope will help elicit happiness from people in Austin and eventually, countries across the world. As a result, I value this scholarship as a necessity.
Ethics is a principle or a moral value every business should have. The way a business runs keeping in mind how the workers are being treated, how its products affect people and whether or not it’s is sustainable in the environment falls under
The concept of business ethics refers to a set of guiding principles that encourage individuals in an organization to make decisions based on the company’s stated beliefs and attitudes toward business practices within its industry (Lisa McQuerrey., 2016). Ethical and Unethical business decisions have long been a predicament encountered by organisations, these practices are concerned with how the companies interact with the global business world, and to their one-on-one dealings with individuals (Garry Crystal, 2016.) The concept of ethics and social responsibility emerged into the business world in the early 1970s after the end of World War I, saw these organisations become more profit driven resulting in negative impacts on society at large.

We now face the financial burden and the realization we are approaching our limits. This is why I am reaching out to you. Our foundation is in need of funding. We are seeking assistance of those, as yourself, that embrace their community and are willing to share personal success with worthy causes.

When individuals think of scholarships, they tend to believe of the free money through the government, small or large business, and just a person who wants to make a difference. However, when thinking of scholarships, I realize the opportunities of organization(s) is helping me reach my dreams and goals throughout life. In addition, organizations helping reach my goals will influence other individuals to go through the same path as I am.
