Sister goes from being sweet to evil but being accepted because of believing the lie.At first Gretel is a sweet and innocent little girl and then when they move to the forest closer to the concentration camp and she meets the other guy she acts older and throws all of her dolls away and starts putting Nazi posters on her walls. In the movie, when Bruno asks Gretel why all her dolls are in the basement and she says “I’m too old to play with dolls”. So long as they believe the lie in the movie they are useful.
