Daylight savings time, also known as DST, is not detrimental and the impact it makes is beneficial. Although some may insist that the time change causes their mental and physical capability to decrease, they completely disregard the other factors that can contribute. It would be a waste of time to pass a bill against DST just because it occasionally confuses some people. It is advantageous to businesses, the wellbeing of individuals, and the environment. It’s a well-known notion that “time is money,” especially in business. More time means more customers. More customers means more money. In the article “The Politics of Daylight Saving Time,” by Brian Handwerk, he states, “Businesses tend to support DST because the sudden change produces
David Prerau claims that “another area of DST impact is crime reduction” (Prerau) as “crime [is] believed to be influenced by lighting” (Prerau). However, after DST ends, time shifts back an hour causing sunset to be earlier. If crime is affected by lighting conditions, then an earlier sunset would result in an increased crime rate.
A clinical area of concern in the nursing discipline on 8 West orthopedics at Mount Carmel West is hourly patient rounding. Currently the nursing staff on 8 West does not do patient hourly rounding when providing patient care even thou the nursing manger has tried to implement hourly rounding. There have been many research studies that have shown that hourly rounding has improved patient outcomes and improved quality care nurses give to their patients. Hourly rounding can help address a potential patient problem before the problem occurs (Ford, 2010).
Ben Hogan, a famous golfer, once said, “ the only thing a golfer needs is more daylight”. Daylight saving time not only impacts the world’s golf games, it also affects the economy, outdoor activities and comes with many health concerns.Daylight saving time(also know as DST) was used as a way to save energy and have more natural light in the summertime, but it was as affected and it also came with many consequences to the countries and states that still use this time. It was first used in the USA in 1918 and has been on and off for many years , but now DST is used seven months out of the year. There are two times during the year we change the clocks. The first Sunday in March, we “spring forward” with the clocks and the second Sunday in November we “fall back” one hour. However, daylight-saving time should be abolished from the rest of the world that uses this time throughout the year.

Daylights Savings time in many ways could be helpful to many people all over the United States and selected parts of Europe. Daylight Savings time is a procedure that every living beings in the areas have to follow and obey. Every spring the clocks are all moved forward ahead an hour and during the time of fall clocks are sent back an hour back to how it was previously before the time method had been introduced. In the years of making the method. It had never been an actual thing that unlike today we actually use. In the year of 1784 this individual that was named Benjamin Franklin had come up with a way that could help with conserving resources for war effort. The acceptance for the procedure required a long wait until it would be accepted
Just like all of Earth’s green, society too has found a simple way to use the sun to its fullest potential. Daylight Saving Time is a function that has allowed us to enjoy longer summer days simply by moving our clocks an hour ahead in the spring. This method had became something to consider since Ben Franklin idealized it. Of course it's not the same for everyone, depending on where you are may change when Daylight Saving Time occurs. Although some may say Daylight Saving Time is pointless, it is vital that DST has its benefits.
Daylight savings time has been something that individuals born post World War I have always had implemented in their lives. Many people never really consider the point of daylight savings time until it rolls around twice a year nor do they realize the original purpose. There are approximately 70 countries out of 196 that observe daylight savings time, at least in a portion of the country. Daylight savings time has had many changes throughout the history of it, but is it time to move on? Although there may be advantages such as more natural light, but disadvantages such as the disruptions with our circadian rhythms outweigh the advantages.
Daylight Saving Times is something we do here in the United States every year, where we move our clocks back an hour in the fall, and move them forward an hour in the spring. Daylight Saving Time was established during WWI in order to save energy for war production by taking advantage of the later hours of daylight between April and October. Although it was said to save a lot of energy, today it is extremely difficult to determine the energy saved by this, and it is possible that little or no energy is being saved by Daylight Saving. Which poses the question: Is Daylight Saving necessary in the United States? There are many pros and cons to it, but the cons outnumber the cons, and something should be done about it.
As in business, the companies try to produce the goods and services by the taste and preferences of people. The health care institutions must attempt to align the medical practices with the requirements and needs of the patients. This is essential, not to make profits but to enhance the quality of attention and medical services. It is obvious that people visit the health care institutions because they trust them, but some of them leave the building with satisfaction (McCartney, 2009). It is necessary that these health care organizations ensure that these patients feel satisfied, which could be guaranteed through hourly rounding in an adequate manner.
Shift Work: The introduction of shift work mainly depends on safety and productivity of the workers being maintained. However, evidence suggests that safety and productivity of workers may decline at night shifts with more hours on duty between breaks. The shift work system can be improved by introducing more rest breaks (Folkard & Tucker 2003).
Initially, from economic point of view there some advantages will be grabbed. For instances, more job options will be available. Furthermore, there is some part-time and casual job vastly vacant. Fulltime workers will also gain more money since the payment hourly. At the same way, the stores that stay up late will also get the same chances, to earn more money, as fulltime workers. The most important considerable by extending business hours, it will open a broad chance for international investors to come to South Australia. Consequently, all the matters that have mentioned above will benefit the government by earning more taxes. As the result, it will raise up living standard and better public facilities in South Australia.
Many people are resistant to change, especially if it involves reassembling their plans and procedures to adjust to the new schedule. This is a problem for parents’ work schedules since they most likely will not be able to see their kids in the morning which will leave students unsupervised when they get ready. This is also a problem for transportation since parents will not be able to take their kids to school which might cause traffic and more costs since bus schedules would change too. According to the Sleep Foundation, "If elementary students have the earliest start times, they may be waiting for the bus in the dark early mornings, or waiting at home alone after school." Later start times are thought to solve tardies and absences, but if students cannot get to school, it does not solve anything. A change in the school schedule will result in disorder in many people’s daily routines perhaps having to discard certain activities to fully adjust to the new schedule. The changes caused by a new schedule affects students

...ive for businesses because it helps them make more money and serve customers on time, but it is a negative for those who are losing their jobs.
The continuous use of a non-uniform time scale by including leap seconds, will definitely cause problems in many walks of life especially now that technology relies heavily on satellite communications that require precise timekeeping. Getting rid of leap seconds will imply moving forward and taking advantage of the new timekeeping methods. As much as we love our beloved earth, it is time to realize that celestial time is not every accurate in this new age of technological development and more precise methods of timekeeping.
