On Monday, November 6th, I visited an Indian restaurant in Pasadena called All India Cafe. Because I am an Egyptian, it was very pleasing to visit an ethnically different restaurant in quite a while. This restaurant specializes in a fascinating and extensive dishes of authentic indian cuisine. Their meals are far more colorful than my cultural meals, ranging from red, green and orange curries to fresh herbs and spices. Ther interior design of the cafe was very traditional; Indian music as well as art and decoration greeted me with vibrant scents of the kitchen.

So including him and his wife, a couple sat outdoors, and two more parties joined for dinner. Interestingly, most of the people who ate there were of ethnicities other than Indian, suggesting that the cafe attracts a diverse audience to enjoy their delicious meals.
Does the food seem authentic or Americanized: The food was certainly not Americanized, and what I found profound is that despite the demand for Americanized food in the foodservice industry, this cafe holds strongly to the roots of their original recipes and specialties. Even the portions of the dishes seemed relatively small to most Americanized dishes. Despite their small sizes, they were fulfilling and delicious.
General observations about the restaurant (organization, cleanliness, etc): because of its small architecture, the restaurant seemed compressed, but the organization of the tables were cleverly set to accommodate for quite a lot of people. There were outdoor tables available as well. The cafe was also very clean; the tables were covered by paper sheets to prevent the tables from staining. It was nicely decorated with traditional paintings and ribbons. As the sun setted during my meal, dim lights illuminated the cafe internally and externally, which set a very relaxing atmosphere. The customer service was very hospitable and generous as I was offered multiple dish suggestions
