That is a main reason why our kids are over weight, they are not getting the correct amount of exercise that is required for kids and adults even. Majority of kids today are inside playing on their phones, or texting, playing the game system, or sitting on a couch and watching T.V. Parents have always asked why is my kid over weight or why are they getting sick so much and easy? One cause could be from the use of technology, and how it has taken over today's society. Another reason today's technology is destroying our society is because the percentage of suicide attempts and suicide that has happened over the years due to people not having enough responsibility for this kind of technology. We have watched so many children and adults kill themselves because of people posting something about them that hurt them or texting them rude and obnoxious items that may not be true or that could be true. We are setting this generation up for more attempts of suicide because we are not trying hard enough to stop it, we are sitting back and watching technology destroy the society. We need to stop this before it gets worse, limit the technology that todays society receives. By doing little things at a time we can stop all of the issues
Larry from safekids.com also imagines that todays tech is the issue, “ These days technology makes it possible for youth to reach through both space and time to harass or bully classmates regardless of location”(Magid). With cell phones, even the impossible is almost possible. Kids will continuously pick on someone else at school, at home, at work, anywhere because they are able to, do to our modern tech. Posting it online will only cause more torment and harassment of the children who have already been bullied and beat up. Larry also says “ It's now possible for kids to use the internet , their cell phones, social networking sites, and even game consoles to harm impersonate and embarrass others” (Magid). Though we enjoy using our technology we have today we may not have as much freedom as we do now in the future if we keep being irresponsible. Any Type of bullying or harassment is not a joke, it leads to many different finishes and most of them people will not like to

In the United States of America, practically everybody can agree on the importance of the youth and their education. The youth and children of today are the future leaders of tomorrow. Although education, undoubtedly, is beneficial to America’s youth, there are some experiences, such as bullying, that negatively affect and stick with these youth for the rest of their lives. Certain children find an outlet for their frustrations through bullying others. In the past, these actions could be better controlled because they were limited to face-to-face interactions. However, due to the recent booms in technology over recent years, cell phones, social media sites, group chats, and other forms of technology have allowed bullying to expand into the Internet. This new form of abuse is known as cyber- bullying. According to the Online Merriam-Webster Dictionary, cyber-bullying is, “the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.” This can be done through cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyber-bullying may seem like nothing since there's no physical contact, but in reality it can hurt even more than the actual thing. The victims of cyber-bullying are real people with real feelings; and the bullying has led some to depression, and further more driven them to suicide. Cyber-bullying is a serious issue that negatively affects the youth today.
There are a few components that go along with technology. There are a lot of pros to technology, but what else is it good for? Many people think that technology is bad, but at this time of life, the good always outweighs the bad.
Technology is unavoidable in our modern lifestyle. You wake up, you use technology; you use technology while cooking, while eating, while driving. While you’re lying in bed before you fall asleep, you use technology, technology wakes you up in the morning. Is all the technology around you good for you, or is it harmful to your health? Was our society healthier or safer before all the advancements? So many questions and concerns about all of the technology we crave, but there are very few people who know the answers. Technology affects all parts of human life. It can create jobs, motivate people to get active, and assist people in learning, but this does not balance out that there are dangers that follow the use of technology.
When thinking of killing, drugs and nudity, I’m pretty sure not many people think of positive ideas. Electronics, such as television and computers, show these kinds of things regularly. Despite this explicit material, some people see the constantly improving technology as a wonderful addition to our lives. Yet as time passes, more and more people start to have doubts about what these developments in technology are leading to. Kids and teens should be playing and using their imaginations; instead they devote countless hours on various electronics ranging from tablets and computers to phones and TV’s. These inventions often show explicit and inappropriate material which corrupts children, and are slowly ruining society’s social skills.

There are different types of cyberbullying. This topic comes as an interest to many people these days because bullying is very common and it can ruin a person’s life. These days, cyberbullying is considered a new form of bullying. It can happen over the internet by computer, mobile phone or any other electronic devices. Cyberbullying could involve any form of unpleasant words or pictures being displayed on the internet for others to see. It could also involve the spreading of lies about the victim on the internet. Many people are stepping up efforts to prevent bullying in the first place. Approximately half of U.S. students are impacted by traditional bullying each school day (Ross). Bullying peaks in middle school, then reduces in high school. Other types of bullying may involve the passing of notes behind someone’s back, rumors being whispered about someone, or being threatened in the internet. The most common types of cyberbullying include passing of humiliating photos, cell phone pranks, cyber stalking, impersonation, online slam books, and text wars. Bullies appear scary but truthfully they are the unhappy ones. Majority of bullies have been bullied by parents, siblings, or other young people. This may trigger them to bully and pick on other kids.
-Albert Einstein (quote). Technology has become an important thing in are daily life. We can’t go out through the day without having to text someone, watch TV, or communicated in some way using some kind of communication devices doing the work for us. Has it gone too far to say is in “Addiction” to are health? It has become a focus to our lives, without it people feel disconnected to the world. Is there a significant effect that texting can distract are thinking ability, and make us less focus in are daily work.
Technology has more negative effects on today’s society than positive. Due to technology in the past few decades Canine Shock Collars have been increasingly popular. Students in school pay more attention to texting than they do their classes. Violent addictive video games have made their way into American homes. Parents encourage their children to not text as much, but them to face the problem of constant communication. The Internet gives the students easier ways to cheat in school, and reinforces laziness. Internet Porn gives every bored male a chance to look at the seediest film in the comfort of his own home. Technology has taken the innocence and mystery away from the American family.
Cyberbullies are hiding behind technology because they can’t deal with the victim face to face. People depend on social networking sites because it’s an easy way to target their victim. Girls are more likely to bully online and boys are more likely to bully in person. Cell phones and computers are not to blame for cyberbullying it’s social media sites themselves that are to blame. 25% of teens say that they have been bullied through the use of technology and over half of young people report being cyberbullied. There is no doubt that technology has changed our society. Now things are faster, easier, and more efficient than ever before. With all these changes, bullying has been impacted in a positive and negative way. Although technology has given victims of bullying an outlet to complete education without going to school, technology has made it easier for bullying to happen on anonymous apps and social media sites.
Technology use was on the rise but has shown a significant increased rate in recent years. Technology was a beneficial tool that was used on a daily basis. Technology industries had developed many devices like computers, laptops, smartphones, iPods, and many other devices that made technology easier to access from anywhere and anytime. Technology expanded every day and the usage increased which had an effect on society especially targeting teens. Teens abused the use of technology that caused them to have serious problems mentally and physically. Teens mainly focused on technology use and caused a social disconnection from the real world. Technology use has a negative effect on teens by causing health problems and social disconnection.
Technology means that bullying is no longer limited to schoolyards or street corners. As technology use begins to increase, so does cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology may include devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites. Chris Rowan states the obvious, commenting “a mere 20 years ago, children used to play outside all day, riding bikes, playing sports and building forts” (The Impact of Technology 1). Because so many kids are caught up in the latest technology and no longer care about playing outside, it is much easier to access the internet and therefore talk, and even harass, other kids. Unlike traditional bullying, cyberbullying doesn't require physical strength or face-to-face contact. Many kids say things online to others they would never say in person— this is why cyberbullying is so popular; kids want to feel big and bad, in control, and superior to their peers. The only way to feel like this is to be feared by others.
Albert Einstein quoted, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” The use of technology today is affecting our future generations by introducing them fast into using technology. Children today are focusing more on Ipads, Ipods, smart phones, or other electronic devices, rather than focusing on their knowledge. In addition, toddlers are mastering using electronic devices before they can even speak. (Alison Lee, 2013) According to research conducted by Alison Lee, it has been shown that when her child was 17 months old, he could activate the television by the use of the remote control. Although, today’s technology has also abducted the minds of adults, and It makes them addicted to it. For example, due to careless driving and many causes of death accidents, this happens from people who use their electronic device while driving their vehicle. In fact, technology is being upgraded annually, and causing more people to get addicted to it. Today’s society is very addicted to technology, that studies indicated that 2013 is the year where some human beings have an internet disorder. In addition, people who have internet disorder suffer from this condition. However, people who are overly attached to the use of technology makes them more prone to anxiety, physiological disorders like cyber bullying, and clutched to that electronic device would dominate home life.
