The larger the company, the more that is usually wrong; sometimes, applying even simple best practices to these websites can create hundreds of thousands, or even millions in additional revenue. Technical SEO vs. technical SEOs While technical SEO is just following best practices, it’s rarely done well. A lot of practitioners who are lumped into a “technical SEO” category really just have core competencies and follow checklists but lack a true understanding. Understanding the plate tectonics theory is very important, especially when investigating natural disasters like earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. It is also gives scientists the ability to understand how mountains were formed between two tectonic plates. There are three types of interactions between plate boundaries: convergent, divergent and transform. Looking back at the history of these three different interactions, earthquakes, like the one in Haiti, volcanic eruptions, like at Mount St. Helens, and the creation of mountain belts, like the Mid-Atlantic Oceanic ridge, gives information on future consequences of tectonic movement, and what can happen when the plates interact with each other.
The historian and the geographer use many different types of evidence to explain important topics in their fields. This evidence varies, depending upon what is needed to tell the story of that time in history. While these two disciplines are by their definition and purpose, “different,” there are many similarities in some of the evidence needed to complete the picture.

The concept of geographic profiling, as a product of criminal profiling, can be traced back to Cesaro Lombroso (1876), the Father of Criminology. Lombroso’s theories of criminality emphasized the individual characteristics of the offender (e.g., as race, age, sex, gender, location). He was influenced by the evolutionary research of Darwin’s concept of the “born criminal,” posing that physical characteristics are indications of criminal predispositions (2007). Nonetheless, accounting for the era of which Darwin and Lombroso was most influential, with lack of science, it was reasonable to identify the characteristics of a criminal as opposite of the norm. The two historical figures are credited for establishing the basis of profiling.
The question that I will be answering for my coursework is which is best at protecting the Northumberland coastline – groynes or beach nourishment. I will be going to Blyth beach also I will be visiting Newbiggen beach I am investigating the Northumberland coastline as part of my geography coursework also because I live in the UK and I want to see how safe the people of the UK are with the safety of the coastline and its defences against coastal erosion. The Five Themes of Geography are: Location – Absolute points on a map or grid or Relative to where something may be; Place – The physical and/or human characteristics of a locations; Human/Environment Interactions – How humans have impacted the landscape or environment; Relationship between places Movement – How humans interact on the earth (i.e. how they communicate over distance (short or long)) and Regions – a unit of space that has commonalities defined by physical, human and environmental geography. The Explorers of the New World may have not known what the Five Themes of Geography were but they quickly learned. Of the five themes the ones that they all took advantage of was the physical Location and Place as they learned to navigate to and from as well as through their new environments. Over Time the explorers began to discover the relationships within their environments and original occupants of the lands as well as the regions in which they now occupied.

Many things begin to change as a result of this and society beings to turn into something completely different. One of the most overlooked changes that takes place is that of the environment and landscape. The landscape is one of the most important parts of our society’s culture and has a great effect on how we live. It seems that nowadays, many individuals are taking advantage of the land and nothing appreciating it for every thing that it is worth. Its true that not everyone is going to look at the environment and landscape in the same way, however that is no excuse to disrespect it. Then again, a whole new argument can start from that, as different individuals are going to have different views on what disrespecting the land. Many positive things have come from taking advantage of the land, and also, there have been many negative things to come as a result of this. It all depends on how you look at it. One thing is for sure though, no matter what the case is, the land and environment we live in plays a huge part in each of our everyday lives.
