Education is what makes us become ready for the future in order to succeed in life. We learn our rights from wrongs and know what is good and bad. Teachers are the people who support us from the time we are 5 years until we are far past 18; making sure we have the right education in order to be successful. People also believe that the average public school teacher already receives total compensation that is greater than what he or she could earn in the private sector. Teachers should be paid higher salaries because they are providing their skills and education to build the minds for the future, having to work multiple jobs negatively affects their ability to teach students, and they are expected to meet high standards to earn their pay. …show more content…

Teachers are the people who make the future Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and many other great and successful people that come to your mind. Without teachers nobody would have a path in life and not know basic skills that the average person needs to know. Say if America doubled the price of how much teachers made, which is $120,00 which would want teachers to actually work if america paid teachers the right amount of money for what they really do, schools would seek out better performing teachers which would definitely help students and in Washington Times. But there will always be those teachers who just work for money and not really because they find it a true dream of theirs and say if we gave this pay raise you might come to realize you will see more and more reports of bad teachers because it would become a higher paying job; lets be honest here, everyone works for money. Mr. Brown, is right to point out that teachers often hesitate to teach in low-performing schools because they worry about teaching students whose skills are significantly below grade-level and about challenges with classroom discipline.But with better pay teachers would most likely feel the need to want to help children at low-performing schools to help make it a higher more excelled school. With having a higher pay teachers could afford the luxuries they could never before and actually be able to buy their children lunches at regular prices not having to worry about donating blood (which is when people will donate their blood to a charity and you
