Have you ever gone to an amazing school then the next year it goes to total crap? Well, that’s what happened to me with Tuacahn high school for the performing arts. Tuacahn used to be an amazing school in what we called the canyon of the gods but now it’s in the canyon of pure misery. All the students are over worked, the teachers are depressed, and no one ever learns anything! Let’s start with the students. Every day the students have 9 class periods every day not only that but they have the exact same classes every day. Can you imagine having to go to the same classes every day? Not to mention the fact that Tuacahn has an 8 hour days! Due to this new schedule, the students are left stressed with no time to slow down and just breath. The
Dally you should not even think about killing yourself it will not solve anything and will only make thing worse for everybody who cares about you. I know that you will not believe this and think that the world is horrible and is not worth living in but I promise you that there is still good in the world. I know that you will say that there is not and that I am naive, but I was not the only one to see this even Johnny saw it as he was dieing. He wanted me to try to point this out to you but I knew that you would need more than just me and Johnny's persuasion so I got word from all of the gang and some idea of how to make things better.
Students should not feel the anxiety of being late to class based on the CSUF parking issues. Tardiness often suggests that students could be lazy or show lack of care for their education. On the other hand, tardiness may be different at a school similar to CSUF. Titan students will quickly learn that they must show up to school an hour early in order to find a parking space, if they are lucky. Due to students not being capable of finding a parking space on time, they are generally tardy to their college courses. In this case, student’s education should not be affected due to parking issues. However, colleges are not as impacted in the summer, therefore, students should not be expected to worry about finding an open location to park. Although, several students may have disagreed that the parking lot tends to be impacted in the summer as well. For example, I attend a summer course for English, having
O.K. maybe it wasn’t such a torture but you know what I mean. Don’t get me wrong I love high school, and it will suck to be leaving this place to go to college (Western Washington University!! GO Vikings woo!!! Extreeeeme!) but at the same time I am ready to leave this dump. I constantly hear on a day to day basis in the hallways rants and ravings about how this school sucks, so obvious or not it is not only me. Everyone loathes school, but what makes Jackson so different that it sucks so much compared to other schools? I mean, what sets it apart that makes it so unique? Today I will bring up a couple points with you. Some reasons why Jackson sucks is because of the academic quality Jackson possesses, the administration, the ASB (Or lack thereof), the student body (YOU), and finally school lunches.
It’s fall everyone and Halloween is coming.I would like to tell you that fall is the best season of all.
My dad and I go hunting every weekend during deer season which is from mid of Novmber to the first of Janurary. We go sit at 6:00am and we leave at 8:00am,but why we sit we will be wacthing birds and squirrals playing in the place we have corn they will eat it like deer does.We half to sit still were the deer can’t see us in the deer stand. When we go hunting you have to climb up in the deer stand and then sit patiertly to wait for something to come out of the woods. We look three or four different way in the stand.”My dad stated,” theres a deer.We go hunting in Pearson Georgia. When we go hunting we have to be careful because the gun could go off.It could be dangous going hunting by yourself. But if anything happen I can help him.Because we
Students are deprived from there leaning do to the tardy policy. A policy that is unfair this tardy policy makes students serve a 30 min detention if there even a second late to class and after multiple absences or tardies you can face legal consequences. There's many reasons why students may be late for example students need to take the city buss, bikes ,cars to school but there's always traffic so sometimes it's not the students fault , students shouldn't be given a 30 minute detention for being a couple of minutes late.
I've always been a creative student, driven by my passion to achieve. Throughout my school career, I have taken the most challenging courses, and I take my education very seriously. However, at my previous junior high and my current high school, the learning environment is can be very toxic.

When you think about stress and school, one of the first things that pops up to your mind is homework. Teachers pile on homework for students because they have a limited amount of time to teach each lesson, but want the students to understand the concept of what they’re teaching. With year round schooling, teachers don’t have to worry about trying to cram lessons into short periods of time (Priday, 2008). The year-round schooling technique gives teachers the opportunity to teach freely without having to rush lessons. This means they have more time to teach kids, and kids will better understand what they are learning. Because of this, students won’t need as much extra help, and homework will decrease which would decrease the amount of stress a student has. But homework isn’t the only thing that causes stress. One of the most stressful days of school is the first day of school. Not only are students worried about entering school on the first day, but parents and teachers are also concerned on the first day of school. Actually, 70 percent of students are stressed on the first day and nearly half the teachers reported feeling daily stress, especially at the beginning of the year (Klein, 2017). It is scary entering a new grade with new people because you might not know what you’re doing or where you’re going. But, inside a teacher’s mind, they’re panicking too because they need to make sure their lesson plans are correct, their first day impression goes well, and make sure they stay organized throughout the day. Year-round school eliminates the suspense of how the first day will go. Due to this you will be less stressed. Year-round schooling helps eliminate stress by not having as much homework and losing the anxiety for the first day of
The nine month school year basically allows for the school to shut down for three months. In order to have a year round school year they need to keep the electricity to regulate the temperature all year. Therefore, the school’s electricity bill goes up by four to eight percent, which can cause the teachers’ wages to go down. Lots of teachers become teachers strictly because they want to have time to spend with their own kids during the summer months but since it is year round schooling the teachers don’t get to because they are working. This can create serious scheduling issues for teachers to do things by themselves and with others. The teachers also think it is not a good idea because they feel rushed to cram things in the short weeks before frequent breaks, so they know that their kids won’t forget the subject."It was really hard to get involved in the work because as soon as you geared up, you had to gear back down
The first point of our complicated subject is that school can occasionally not have suitable funds to take on the long year, and with the deepening budget, it is hard to do so. One California school had to diminish over twenty school days to accommodate the budget changes. It can be difficult to save and have a large pool of money to run a school. Without substantial funding, it can get shortened drastically. If...
This means some of this extra time in classes won't even be used productively. The increased amount of hours also gives students less time for things like homework. Spending more time at school a day will only stress people
The school that I am in is for gang members and drug attics and people who fight to much. that’s just not me, I don’t do drugs, I don’t fight, and I hate gangs beyond belief.
...s rarely notify to students when there's some change in schedule. We students just get up early, go to class and are told that now we have no class as usual. That's so trivial but that annoys many people. If we do not have a strict policy, then no more getting up early, no more hustle and bustle on bus and no more waste time like this. Furthermore, teachers may have more free time if students just stay at home and do homework. They just sit at the table with a Internet-connected computer and communicate with their students via email or such thing. Then they will have more time for scientific research - is it more productive? Vietnam now has very few scientists - many of whom just rush in teaching and be trapped with heave work-load. If we relieve the policy, then we will have more part-time scientists-that are teachers.
Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a senior.
